My Understanding

Emily was just a simple girl who was living her dream: being the lead singer of a metal band. It was going great so far, writting lyrics with her bandmates, recording some material for their first Ep, and ocasionally doing some local shows. But not everything was good on her life. Living with a super jealous & not so friendly boyfriend for over a year wasn't easy. But she liked him too much to brake up with him.
One day she gets an email from the manager of a band called Of Mice & Men asking if her band would like to be the opening band to their show. Her and the guys were so excited because it was because of OM&M they were in a band.
Guess that show is just the beggining of a carreer they've wanted for a long time & a more than friendship between two singers.
