No, no not her. First mom then my beautiful darling sister. He couldn't take her away like this, my only true family left. I watched her body fall, as in slow motion. Two more bullets hit her chest, making three small holes that threw out gushes of red.

"LP!!!" I yelled with all voice that I had left, but my sore scream was overpowered by the boy behind me. Alan sobbed out her name, louder than I thought possible. Alan was quicker than I and caught her body right before she fell face first into the pools of scarlet. "Lily-Pearl, wake up. Wake up, sweetheart, wake up..." He begged her over and over. My sister's eyes were closed, her breath shallow and faint.

Alan knelt, sobbing as he craddled her cold body. I touched her cheek, icy from loss of blood that was staining Alan's shirt.

My dad stood, two feet away, clucking his tongue and shaking his head dismally, but the grin showed the he had no remorse. How could that monster smile? Austin sniffed sadly behind me, frozen from the shock. Alan kept whispering, begging for LP to wake up, come back and open her eyes.

Give her back or take me with her.

"Such a shame, yet still not who we want. You've still have to pay the price. Alan, you've had no opinion on this. It's either Austin, or take LP out of her misery, which do you want?" My father asked calmly, holding the gun up, ready to fire. The men behind him stood with no emotion. Where was Stryke?

I stood in fear, not ready to loose one more person. I moved close to Austin, clutching his hand. Alan froze, a look of rage on his face. "Get away from them, you sick monster." He growled.

Too late. A trigger clicked, loud enough for my heart to stop for the third time today. A bullet found its target....
