HEY! LISTEN TO ALLIGATOR BLOOD BY BMTH!!

"Hello, daughter." He spat back at me. I could sense the people behind me. No matter how soft their steps were, I could still hear them. All I could focus on was Lily-Pearl and the metal to her head, ready to blow it off.

All I could see next to her was Ryker. No, I trusted him. He couldn't be the one next to my dad, the one who shot me and was about to kill my sister.

"How could you?!" I screamed to the man who I once met in the grocery store and thought was my friend! How dare he steal away my sister and sell him to this devil?!

"Rae, it's not what it looks like..." He started. Austin had to grab my arm as I lurched forward, ready to slap him to a bloody pulp.

"REALLY, RYKER?! So this isn't my dad about to kill my sister?!" I yelled back at him. Ryker looked hurt. My dad held a calm expression, but perked up at the man's name.

"Ryker? Stryke, you've been double timing." He laughed casually. Even from here, I saw my sister shake like a leaf in a storm.

"Stryke? You've been lying to me. How could you?" I broke off as my voice choked. My brain went fuzzy. It felt like I was the one being shot over, and over, and over...

"What do you want with her?" Austin demanded, pointing at my little sister. My dad smiled, but said nothing for a moment.

"You know what I want in exchange." He purred, his voice smooth. The dark alley seemed to get colder. I glanced behind me to see the five men, holding standing behind us. They must be in my father's little gang with him.

"Just hand over LP and we'll all walk away from this." Alan demanded, attempting to keep his voice even. My dad smirked, letting out a little laugh before rolling his eyes.

"You've already had your choice, and you decided that we were just selling you empty words." My dad pressed the gun harder against the temple of my little sister. I let out a small sob. I didn't want to loose her.

Austin released my arm, letting his hands fall to his sides in defeat before stepping forward in defeat. The five behind us, circled around to be by their leader.

No, not Austin as well.

"Aus, what are you doing?" I asked him. He threw me a sad look before walking another step forward. The man with silver eyes held up his gun.

"He's paying the price." My dad smiled. No. No. No.

"AUS!" I screamed, lunging forward. Alan caught my arm, holding me back from getting hurt.

"Austin, don't do this." Alan warned him. I could see tears in his eyes as well. My own started to drip to the dark cement.

"Just let Lily-Pearl go without harm." Aus commanded. Ryder threw my sister out front. She scrambled over to Alan's side, burying her face in his chest. He wrapped one arm around her protectively.

"Hex..." My father smiled, looking to the man with silver eyes.

"For witnessing the murder, a price you'll pay will be death." He held up the gun, pointing straight to Austin Carlile, who closed his eyes and waited his final sentence.

"Ryker...."I begged my old friend. He looked away in shame. The four men behind the three I knew waited anxiously as Hex started to pull the trigger.

The seconds felt like forever.

The bullet was in mid-air, heading towards it's designated target...
