When she pulled her dress over her head and stood there in front of me, naked, and I saw the red marks and the blood on her thighs… Well I got really shocked. And a bit angry. Did she really have sex with that fucker? That creep that she pushed away at the club. Was it all an act?
But when she cried out and screamed at me for assuming things I just froze. When I tried asking if he really had done it she told what happened and her eyes was red from crying. She was trembling, and you could see that even though it was only me and her in the bus you could still see the fear. She told me the real reason why she had gotten VIP passes and how she knew him, and when she stood there and cried I took the few steps that separated us and I hugged her. Pressed her tiny little body against me to calm her down. First she gasped a little because of the surprise but then she hugged me back. This time she cried because someone held her, and when she calmed down I looked her in the eye.
"Go take a shower, and I’ll make you something to eat and I’ll make you a cup of tea" I said and tried to smile a little. She nodded and she walked over tot he small bathroom.

While I prepared sandwiches I could hear her cry in the shower as well. It was really hard not to just walk over and hug her again, and tell her that it was okay. And I felt such guilt. Because this wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t decide to ignore her. I ignored her because I wanted to see how she reacted after the kiss I gave her, to see how she acted in front of everyone. Why did I do that? Why did I have to ignore her and let this happen?

She came out and she had wet hair, a clean face and swollen eyes. Red as well. She was dressed in only underwear and a big tee. I patted next to me and she walked over and sat down. I pulled her closer and gave her one of the cups.
"I’m really sorry for tonight, I wished I could have been there and help you" I whispered.
"Don’t think like that" she answered and took a sip of the hot tea. I leaned my head against hers and kissed her temple, and I pulled her even closer when she put down her cup. I wrapped a blanket around us as we laid down on the sofa. She looked really tired and she leaned her head against my chest, grabbing my tee and she closed her eyes. I watched the movie, Iron Man, and I yawned a little.
"Please don’t tell the others" she whispered and I looked at her.
"Why not?" I asked, wondering what she had in mind. It felt wrong not to tell Alan.
"I don’t want them to know… not yet anyway" she answered and I could hear that her voice trembled. She was about to cry again and I sighed a little.
"Okay, i’m not going to tell them and hey… Cry your heart out, I think that will help a little" I said and stroked her hair. She closed her eyes again and soon she fell asleep. A very light and worried sleep.

The others got back and they all saw that we laid on the sofa. The movie was almost over and Phil grinned when he saw us. I shook my head and his smile faded. Alan looked at Chris. Now they saw the bruising on her shoulder, neck and over her cheek. Her swollen eyes and her sleeping worried face.
"what happened?" Alan whispered and crouched before the sofa. The others looked at me.
"I promised I wouldn’t tell you but… That John guy, he kinda forced…" I began but the look on Alan’s face cut me off. First he just stared and then he looked really angry. Even Phil looked angry.
"I promised I wouldn’t tell you guys, so please… just pretend that you don’t know, and wait for her to tell you… because she said she would, when she was ready" he said and looked at her.
"How come you know?" Tino asked and looked at me. I shrugged.
"I was the one who found her, kinda" I said and looked at her. She whimpered in her sleep, and you could see how scared she looked and all looked at her with sympathy. I tightened my grip around her shoulders a little and she relaxed. And she curled up a little and pressed herself against my chest. Alan looked at me and I could see that he looked skeptical, but he didn’t say anything and walked over to his bunker.

I woke up when she moved and, confused, looked around. I looked at her and she stared back. First she just looked and then she threw herself up and looked really shocked.
"I’m sorry, I must’ve been heavy" she mumbled and blushed a little, and she looked guilty. I smiled and shook my head. She was not heavy. Not at all.
"You’re not heavy" I said. I stretched my tired body and sat up. There was still tea left in the cups and a half sandwich. I looked at them and then I picked them up.
"You hungry?" I asked and walked out to the kitchen. She followed and she nodded.
"A little" she confessed and looked nervous. She held her arms around her, and her legs was trembling a little.
"Wanna eat here, or get some breakfast at a local coffee shop?" I asked and looked at her. She looked at her feet and you could see that she was thinking.
"Can we go somewhere?" she asked and looked at me. I smiled and nodded.
She brushed her hair, her teeth and put on a pair of jeans. I handed her one of my tees and she looked a little bit confused, then she blushed a little but pulled it over her head. It looked big but it suited her.
She put a tassel in her hand and put her hair up in a bun, she put on her sunglasses and she looked at me. I smiled and reached for my own, and then I held out my hand for her to grab. She hesitated but then she took it and we walked out from the bus.
