As my alarm rung I jumped out of my bed and got dressed,no more baggy hoodies, I didn't mind of what the others thought, the only thing that mattered was having Austin by my side, I rushed down the stairs and greeted my father who looked shocked, he definitely wasn't ready or used to a happy son.
-'morning little ginger- Austin smiled and left a soft kiss on my lips, I felt shivers down my spine.
-'morning Austin- my eyes were heart-shaped, I know, I'm cheesy, I'm sorry.
-So what are we going to do this afternoon?- he asked me
-What do you mean?- was that a kind of invitation or something?

We arrived at the school gate we escaped from just a day before,we needed to make the step even if we weren't actually "official", I didn't mind if I was going to be judged and so did Austin, he held my hand and we walked in together, someone stared someone not, we reached Aaron and Justin.

-Well nice to meet ya- Justin said with a strange voice,I thought he was a bit angry with him because he used to be Mike's friend, but Austin is nothing like Mike and the others .
-Nice to have you with us- Aaron said, Austin and Aaron have always got on well, indeed Austin told me that when He used to go to Mike's house with the others he always ended up staying with Aaron better than the one he called "friends".
The bell rung Austin kissed my forehead and walked to his class.
I had science , but I wasn't worried to see Mike, I was just too happy to be bothered.
Time was passing slowly;I was lost in my thought when my phone buzzed.

I smiled and blushed, c'mon that was cute as fuck! I asked to go to the bathroom and reached the corridor, I was all alone waiting for him.
As I heard some steps, I turned around and saw Mike, okay now I was scared, I hoped Austin would arrive as soon as possible.
-Hey you, ginger fag, what are you waiting for?- he grinned
I felt my knees shaking.
-I'm talking to ya! Are you waiting for your boyfriend Austin ah? He's so thankless you know, I helped him out and he left me for a little shit like you- he carried on while walking towards me.
I was trembling ,in my mind I was calling Austin as loudest as I could, but facing reality I was silent.
-He's not thankless, you douchebag!, you didn't help him out you made him feel bad!- I said with a low voice
-How have you just called me, faggot?- he was standing right in front of me, I wasn't intentioned to let him talking shit about Austin.
-I said you're a douchebag.- I repeated slowly.
A punch hit me right in the face, I fall on the ground and he started kicking me in the stomach, I felt dizzy, and my view was blurring,but I could recognize Austin, he was running to us.
He punched Mike in the face, Mike fall right beside me, I tried to stood up and move to Austin's side as I felt as if I was going to throw up , he continued punching and kicking Mike, I didn't know he could beat so hard, I didnt Know he could beat the shit out of someone at all, I was scared , Mike was in my same situation ,I could see him slowly trying to crawl away.
Eventually my science teacher come out of the class to find where Mike and I were, he hurried in our direction and divided Austin from Mike, he helped him standing up.
-are you okay Alan?- he asked me, I nodded, then he turned to Austin and Mike.
-What was on your mind Carlile ? Why did you beat him?- I saw austin's eyes turn red, he was scared and feeling bad.
-And why did you beat Alan,Fuentes, you're 20 ! He's just 17!- Mr Green was freaking out.
-now you both come with me, we're going to the headmaster! Ashby ,you go to the bathroom and then straight back to the class.-
Mr Green, took them away,I was worried, that was all my fault! I knew that something bad was going to happen! I had been too happy recently, everything was going to well!

Austin's Pov
-Alan!- I shouted.
I was just came back from school I had to stay in detention during the afternoon, but I wanted to see him, I went to his house, he told me that his parents would come back at 7pm so I was sure He was alone, I found the door opened, I thought he had forgot to lock it, I called him a few time, but I didn't received any answer, so I went straight to his bedroom, he wasn't there, I started to worry, I headed to the bathroom, it was locked, fuck.
-Alan open this fucking door- I felt my eyes stung badly
-uhmm... Aus-I heard his voice, it was so low
-can you open the door? What's going on?!- no answer.
-Okay Alan I don't give a fuck! I'm gonna knocking the bottom out of this fucking door-i shouted and pushed strongly,the door opened and I saw him, he was slumped on the floor his arms and thighs were covered in blood.
-Oh my god Alan! What was crossing your mind?-I was on the edge of breaking down.
-Austin...I'm...i'm sorry... I...I didn't want to bring you in troubles- he muttered
-Alan, stop it, you don't have to be sorry okay? Look me in the eyes! I'm not angry with you, I could never be, but please don't leave me now, everything's gonna be okay , trust me-
I wept the Tears from my eyes and started to clean his cuts, this time they were really deep, I medicate every little wound and held him in my arms, I left him on the bed and hurried to the kitchen, I brought him a glass of water and sugar as he was almost collapsed so he needed to restore, I kissed his forehead, he curled up, I was melting, but I managed to change him, his clothes were full of blood.
I went to the bathroom, I had to clean up the mess,I spent a good 20 minutes on it ,eventually I found his blade, cursed it and literally threw it away.
I stood up and entered his bed, he was asleep and shivering, I embraced him, I'd never leave him, never.
-hold on to me- I muttered burring my head into his neck and falling asleep.
