The First Punch

As my eyes slowly opened I noticed I wasn’t home and it was really bright in this room. I put my hand above my eyes to shield out the sun. I felt my bare skin touching a blanket, which was super soft. I took my hand from underneath the blanket to feel the softness of the blanket on top. As I dragged my hand across the fabric I looked to the side where there was a wall of windows. I sat up straight and looked at the bedside to see my bikini top and bottom laying on the floor. I grabbed my bottoms and slid them on and I did the same with my top… I was sitting on the edge of the bed not wanting to know who was laying next to me on this bed. My head hurt really badly and the room smelt like cigarettes. I looked on the bedside table and saw a pack with 2 left in it. I pulled one out, lit it, and took a long drag. Instantly I felt calmer, and I got up and stood in front of the windows.
“Fucking band members..” I scoffed under my breath. I heard the person in bed moan. It wasn’t Tony I knew Tony’s sounds and that was not one of them.. I slowly turned to look behind me and there was the person I had slept with last night. As I looked at him last night started to come back to me. Last night I was in a high/drunken state.. when I get either of this I turn brutally honest.. I picked up my dress to look for anything from last night. When I looked inside I saw a note pinned to the dress. It looked like it had been in contact with a liquid because the blue pen was bleeding. It read:

Axl, I knew from the moment we started “going out” it was because you were lonely or I was one of the only guys that you felt really comfortable around. I should’ve just left us at a one night stand. Can we pretend that we never happened? Wait let’s not forget, but just put it in the past. I just want to go back to us being there for each other in non-signifigant other ways. I knew right when you said that you were questioning us being together last night that I should’ve done what I said earlier. It was really fun but even I knew it wasn’t for real. You are welcome to stay with me in my spare room till you get a place of your own. I love you and always will. -Tony I felt tears starting to swell in my eyes. I didn’t now why. This is what I wanted wasn’t it? After a minute or two of tears starting to fall, I smiled. I finally said something.. I did something that was good for me.. I sniffled and the guy in the bed got his boxers on and walked over to me.
“Alex.. Are you okay? What happened? You can talk to me.” I smiled as he looked into my eyes.. He leant in and we put our lips together… this felt right. I mean kissing Tony felt right but this… This was different than any other kiss in a relationship I’ve had. Sure kissing Connor for the first time felt right and same with Mike but that was only the first few that were like this.. But none of them were this good. As we pulled away he put his tattooed hand on the back of my neck and used his thumb to wipe the tears out of my face. “Alex it’ll be okay.” I handed him the note and he looked it over..”So it’s like you were never in a relationship?” He asked grabbing the cigarette from my hand and taking a drag. He blew it out of the side of his mouth. “Listen Alex.. If you want this to not be anything, I get it. But I really like you…” He placed his hand on my knee and sat down next to me. All of a sudden my phone vibrated and it was a group text with everyone in the band, even Mike. I was wondering why I was even in it seeing that I’m not actually part of the band, I then saw the message was from Tony. I unlocked my phone and saw what he had sent.
Tony The Turtle: So all of you guys knew that Axl and I were going out during the tour. That was a tour thing so we didn’t sleep with random fans. So lol just to clarify.. we are not a thing anymore!
Hime Time: You’re fucking right next to me… so like FWB??
Vic-turd: He's fucking right next to you?! lol
Hime Time: You ass wipe you’re next to me too!
Tony The Turtle: Lol hello there guys! And yes Jaime..
Tony The Turtle: Put on some pants Vic… You too Jaime..
Vic-turd: Okay dad..
Hime Time: Alex where are you? Did you leave last night?
Alex: Nah I’m here. I’ll be out in a sec just need to take some clean clothes from Lian.
Vic-turd: Are you wearing anything? ;)
From down the hall I heard Vic say ‘ow’ loudly and the rest of the guys laughing.
“Tomorrow.. take me out for breakfast and show me a good time but I want 3 good dates before…” I said turning and looking into his eyes.
“Before what?” He smiled and took a drag, blowing the smoke out of the side of his mouth.
“Before we are a thing.. right now we are just… interested in each other..” I laughed and looked at him. He chuckled.
“My cock has been in you… I’m a little bit more than just interested in you.” He winked and walked over to his clothes and put on his hat. He slipped on his shorts and his sleeveless shirt. He grabbed his phone from the table and walked over to me. I laughed as he wrapped his arms around my neck. "Is just one good date okay?" He said leaning into me. I pulled away and laughed again.
"Fuck you bitch! I have standards!" To this he laughed and I couldn't help but smile. All of a sudden we heard a knock on the door. The knocking wasn't just one knock it was.. Constant..
“Is this the bathroom?” I heard Alan say knocking on the door more.
“Alan no this is a bedroom and I am in here.” I laughed and heard him slam his palm against the door.
“Fuck, where is it?!” He said swearing under his breath.
“Right next to you.. Turn to the left side and it’s there.” He moaned and we heard him go into the bathroom and shut the door. I giggled and went to the door, “I’ll be right back.” I scurried to Lian and Jaime’s bedroom, found a Slipknot shirt and aztec print shorts. I slipped both of these on and scurried back to the guest room.
“Hot…” He said laughing. I went over to my Doc’s and slipped them on.
“Fuck my makeup must look terrible!!!” I ran into the guest room bathroom and looked in the mirror.. Actually it wasn’t that bad.. considering it was all washed off from the pool. I dug around the bathroom cabinets to see if I could find makeup. When I did all I put on was simple winged eyeliner with mascara and that was it.
“You look beautiful anyway you wear your makeup, weather it be none or quite a bit.” He came over to me an kissed my cheek. He went over to the door and looked at me. “I’m gonna go wait in the car and chill in the sun.” He smiled got his sunglasses off of the chest or drawers and walked out. After tending to the notifications on my phone I walked into the living room which had almost all of the band members from the party sitting or sleeping in it. On the back deck there was also some of the girlfriends sunbathing.
“Hai.” I said quietly, waiving to the guys and girls. They all smiled and The Amity Affliction guys were all smirking at me. I looked around for Lian and right as I made eye contact with her she pulled me into the nearest room with a door and lock. Which was her and Jaime’s room. When we got in she locked the door and looked at me.
“We need to catch up. You first.” She said to me leaning on the wall. I leaned on the wall across from her and slid to the floor.
“Well um… Tony and I are over because I was mainly just with him because I didn’t want to be alone. He’s just saying I was a Friend With Benefits. Which is fine. And he said I could stay at his house till I got a place. But I may just crash at Will’s house seeing that he leaves today for Brazil.. Now you..” I looked up to her. She then slid down to the floor.
“You.. you can’t tell anyone because I’m really scared about it and I don’t know what to do and I haven’t even told Jaime.. Hell I haven’t even told Kel!!” You could start to see Lian’s eyes starting to make tears that would soon fall. I crawled to her side and put my arm around her.
“Li.. What is it?” I rubbed her arm as she started to sob. I had a feeling of what it was and I was so scared for her. She was breathing between sobs trying to let the words come out.
“I—I’m…” She was starting to cry harder now. “Pre—pregnant.. Alex I’m pregnant..” She dug her head into my shoulder and was just sobbing..
“Li.. I’m here for you.. no matter what decision you make I’ll be here for you, I’ll never leave." I never really cried but I could feel a tear or two forming. I kept on rubbing her shoulder.
“Alex.. I love you.” She said standing up and leaning against the wall. I them got up and wrapped her in my arms.. I guess you could hear Lian because Jaime came knocking on the door and you could hear the concern in his voice when he asked if he could come in.
“Love you too Li.. Do you want to tell him now? Or do you want me to tell him it’s just a girl thing?” She had nodded when I said that she was going to tell him now. She walked over to the door and unlocked it. Right when Jaime saw her he wrapped her in his arms and walked into the room.
“Li what’s wrong? Whatever it is I can fix it, I promise.” He started rubbing her back and I closed the door behind them. She looked up at him with tears still streaming down her face.
“Jaime.. I’m pregnant..” His face turned automatically into a smile.
“Babe don’t be so sad about that. I mean I know it’s scary but everything will be alright! It’s great, we can expand our family. I will help you get through this! No matter what you need I’ll get it for you!” He kissed her cheek and she laughed. He wiped the tears off of her face and looked her in the eyes. “I love you Li.. Never forget that.”
“Alex, can we have some private time to just talk about this?” Jaime smiled at me. I nodded then opened the door.
“I’m heading out by the way so just call or text! Love you guys!” I went out of the room and headed for the front doors. In the road I saw this car.. It was one almost just like mine.. just a lot more expensive but still a convertible.
“Hey Alex! Jump in!” He laughed as I ran to his car, opened the door, and sat down.
“Ahren, where’re we going?” I smiled.
“Anywhere you want.” He smiled and pulled onto the road.
