The First Punch

As I held Ghost in my arms I handed my bags to Tony. “Can you bring these to our room? I need to get changed!” I giggled poking his stomach. He raised an eyebrow.
“And why do you need to get changed?! I think you look fine babe!” Tony said leading me into the house. He headed for our room and I followed. He gently laid down the bags on a table at the end of our bed and walked over to me. I was still petting Ghost as Tony kissed me. When we pulled away I put down our little kitten on the bed. I patted his head then walked to the closet. As I opened it I realized that I didn’t have any clothes at Tony’s house. I only had the clothes that I brought to Warped.
“Ugh I forgot I don’t have anything here!” I closed my eyes and closed the doors.
“Did you buy anything at the mall?” Tony asked, I opened my eyes to see him picking up the bag. He pulled out the dress Mel had gotten for me. “What about this? With your Doc’s?” I smiled and nodded. I took off my shirt and threw it in the laundry basket, when it made it in Tony went crazy. “And the crowd-goes-WIIILLED!!” I laughed and punched his arm.
“Why are you so fucking adorable?!” I said kissing him on the cheek and taking the dress. I knocked off my shoes and slid down my shorts. I was already wearing a bikini because it was hot and I was planing on sweating and I always wear a bathing suit when its hot out. I then quickly hopped into the dress. I fumbled trying to get the back laced up, then Tony came over.
“Need a little help there Axl?” He laughed and took the black ribbon out of my hand. It was like he was a pro at this. He got that done quickly and I went over to get my Doc’s. When I got that on he looked down at his tank top, board shorts, and black slip-on vans.
“Oh you look fine babe!!” I grabbed his hands and pulled him close to me. I pulled my hands out of his then wrapped my arms around him.
“Thanks Axl.. You ready to go?” I nodded then looked at Ghost.
“Can we bring him? So he can meet sweet MoonMoon?!” I picked up Ghost and looked at Tony.
“Who’s MoonMoon?” Tony asked grabbing his wallet off of the table. I looked at him in disbelief.
“You don’t know little MoonMoon?! She’s Kel’s kitten that we rescued from the side of the road!!” I smiled remembering that day with Lian and Kel.
“Oh okay! Sure we can bring him!” He kissed me one the cheek and we headed out. Lian lives right down the road so its easy to get there by just walking, and that good because Lian’s parties or really any party with a band member we leave wasted, stoned or trippin.. So we walked... Before we left we also brought whatever booze we had left in the house, as does everyone with a party like this.
“We’re here right?” Tony said looking at the nice house to the right of us.
“Yup!” I was so excited I haven’t seen Lian in so long and today was the day I got to see her. I briskly walked to the front door and went in. Lian and I never bothered to ring doorbells or knock when we went to each others house. Tony followed me and he went straight for the kitchen with the booze.
“ALEX!!!!!’ Lian said running over to me. “Ooh looking cute! Nice dress! Awe who is this?!” She said petting Ghost’s head.
“This is Ghost! I was hoping he could play with little Forrest and MoonMoon!” I asked walking to the living room which had Kel, Quin, Jaime, and 2 little kittens near them. One was obviously MoonMoon by her being all black with a moon shaped scar on the top of her head. The other was Forrest, Lian’s kitten she got at the beginning of the tour. Kel got up from the floor and came over to me. He took Ghost out of my arms and walked back to Quin. He sat back down and started petting Ghost. Quin continued playing with MoonMoon and Jaime’s focus was on teaching Forrest how to stand on his hind legs. But Jaime was miserably failing at this.
“Uh Kel..” Lian looked at him as he continued to pet the small animal. He looked up for a second then back down at Ghost.
“He’s mine now..” Kel said without breaking his serious outer shell. I laughed and sat down on floor next to them. They were playing The Big Bang Theory in the background but no one was watching, all they were looking at were the cats. Little MoonMoon came over to me and nudged my hand that was on the floor, thinking there was something in it for her. I petted her head and she climbed up onto my criss-crossed legs.
“Hey there little girl how are you?” I said picking her up and holding her in my arms. Kel looked at me holding her. “She’s mine now.” Kel put Ghost on the floor and shook his head. I laughed and put MoonMoon down. Kel laughed and she scurried to him. He picked her up and snuggled with her. Quin looked at them both and he kissed Kel on the cheek, which obviously made Kel smile and blush. Little MoonMoon looked up to Kel and then to Quin, she dug her face into Kel’s chest and he let out a chuckle. We heard some one knock the door, then again, again, and again..
“Dude you need to knock louder! They probably can’t even hear you!!” We heard someone say, I laughed and saw Lian going for the door. All of a sudden we heard the doorbell going off and tons of knocking. all of the cats scurried under a table, except MoonMoon, she just stayed with Kel. Lian pulled open the door and we heard tons of people cheering and Lian laughing.
“Hey Li, nice to see you again.” One person said as everyone walked in. They all put their booze in the kitchen and then I saw who was here. Vic, Chris, Balz, Ryan, Ghost, Ricky Horror, Gaskarth, Barakat, Rian, Zack, Austin, Alan, Tino, Phil, Aaron, Oli, both Matts, Jordan, Lee.. And not to mention if they had girlfriends they brought them. Of Mice even brought some of their techs. The house quickly filled up and everyone had a drink in their hand.
“Hey guys let’s all head out back, it’s kinda cramped..” Tony laughed as he grabbed some bottles and boxes and headed for the back. All the other band members did the same. After they all got outside someone else came through the door.. It was Will, my brother!! I set Ghost on the floor and ran to him. He hadn't been here in so long, he was in London for some time, then Australia, then Milan I think. He photographed models, but not SuicideGirls. We had a conversation of about 10 minutes, just about our lives since the last time we had seen each other. When we stopped talking, I walked over to Ghost and picked the cutie up. I walked back to Will and let him pet Ghosty.
“Will, this is Ghost! Okay you guys coming outside?" I asked motioning towards the back door. Jaime nodded picking up Forrest and Quin stood up.
“Ally Cat you comin?” Quin asked looking to Kel. Kel shrugged.
“I don’t know.. It’s gonna be hot outside..” He looked at Quin, and Quin was pulling out the puppy dog eyes. Kel shook his head and stood up with MoonMoon. “But I’m not going in the pool!” Kel said following us as we walked to the back. When we got out there we saw almost everyone in the pool just splashing around. Lian also had an outdoor bar and now it was fully stocked with all colors and sizes of bottles. We saw some of the guys laying out the rules to a drinking game. And a lot of the girlfriends were sunbathing. I put Ghost on a small cat bed that was on a table in the shade and he almost instantly fell asleep. Jaime did the same but Kel just kept holding her. Jaime took off his shirt and went over to the guys who had a radio in the middle of them on a station where they play all of their types of music. Chris and Balz were playing so were Jack and Rian. I saw Vic and Tony join Jaime and they all high fived. Lian came over and unzipped the side of my dress. I looked at her confused.
“It’s zip up?!” I asked amazed. She nodded and giggled. I let the dress fall to the floor and threw it on a chair.
"Can I join?!" Will asked kicking off his shoes and pulling off his shirt. Lian stripped down to her bikini and we all ran hand in hand to the pool and jumped in. When I hit the water it was warm but not like bathwater. When I came to the surface I saw Gaskarth and Mel swimming around. We then heard 2 other cars pulling in. I climbed up the ladder, out of the pool and headed for the gate that led to the front yard.
“ALEX?!” I saw Bailey from earlier in the tour running over to me. She hugged me and laughed. “You get to meet my boyfriend and his band! Alex this is Crown the Empire.” She said turning to the side and pointing at the group of dysfunctional looking guys coming to the back with pot and booze. I went through the gate and held it open for them. First her boyfriend Andy walked through, he was really nice and I could see that he was good for her. He moved along and another guy stopped, introduced himself, and moved along holding a huge case of beer. A taller guy walked through, he had maybe size 00 plugs and brown hair. He looked me up and down and and took his cigarette out of his mouth.
“Hey I’m Hayden.” He said smiling at me then taking a drag. I blushed as he walked away and said to a blond guy and another guy with huge plugs that I was hot. A short brown haired guy stopped in the gate and looked at me.
“Hey Alex, I’ve heard great things. Brandon.” He smiled and walked away. I looked to the driveway to see who else was coming. I saw a group of 4 guys coming. None of them had girls with them which I thought was weird. Then a tatted out guy walked to me.
“Hey, are you the Alex that I’m always hearing about?” I nodded and smiled at his Aussie accent. He smiled too and looked to his band. “Well I’m Ahren, that’s Joel.” He said pointing to a guy with glasses. “That’s Troy.” He explained pointing to a stocky guy with tatts and brown hair. “And lastly he’s Ryan.. Our drummer.”
“You’re The Amity Affliction!” I smiled looking at him, he nodded and smiled. “Ah cool, I really like you guys. Especially you..” He continued smiling, I blushed, and he looked into my eyes.
“I mean I really like you but I guess we can’t have what we want here.” He winked and kissed me on the cheek. I was blushing really hard now.. What the fuck first Connor, then Hayden, and now Ahren… Everyone loved Tony and I’s relationship… But now more than ever, I’m questioning whether I just got with him because he was there for me, or just because I didn’t want to be alone...
