The First Punch

"Yeah so him and I have been texting since I met him basically. He said I was a flutter bum!" Kel said with enthusiasm.
"Flutter bum? Does that mean... You're cute?" I asked trying to comprehend what lingo he was using
"Yes! We are going to meet at the diner tomorrow at 12. I'm on cloud 9! I actually might really like him. He seems so perfect." Kel was trying to contain himself.
I was holding hands with Tony as him, Ray, and I listened to Kel talk about Quin. I took a quick look at my phone and saw that it was almost 6 o'clock. Only 2 and a half more hours and we have the next 24 hours off! Since we are a vendor we get to take down out tent at around 8:30 instead if waiting until 9:00 when the actual show gets over.
"So do you think you'll have a shot at an actual relationship with Quin?" Tony asked very curiously. As if he had been friends with Kel for years and cared about all of his feelings.
"I don't know. I mean who would really like me. I'm just a no good greaser." Kel looked down. Pulling the comb out of his pocket and running it through his jet black hair.
"But he said you were cute, and you're not no good. You seem really nice and caring!" Tony said trying to soothe Kel. I smiled at Tony's efforts. Mike would've never talked to Kel. He met him once and called him a 'fag'. Kel smiled and looked out into the crowd that was swarming around the front of the tent. I wonder what's going on...
I see Vic and Jaime coming towards us. Then out of nowhere I see Mike. Why is Mike there? When all of the boys got to our tent everyone was silent. Tony looked like he was going to kill someone and so did I. I looked over to Kel to see him staring at Mike with squinted while chewing his gum with his mouth open. And Ray... Well Ray was smiling at Vic who was smiling at her.
"Hey Alex. Having a fun time here with lover boy? Can I ask you a question? Who's a better fuck, him or me?" Mike said putting both hands on top of the table and leaning close to me with a mischievous grin tugging at his lips.
"Fuck off Mike. No one wants to deal with your bullshit." Tony said getting in his face.
"Oh look. Little lover boy. Sticking up for his whore. You know before she got with me she was just fucking so many guys.. And you guys call me a whore.." Mike laughed in his face.
"Oh... She's the whore? Then what the fuck are you?! You go around sleeping with every girl who will look at you!" Tony retorted. They both looked really pissed off now.
"Yeah Mike if I remember correctly... You are a bigger whore than I will ever be, you cheated on me so many fucking times! And you basically forced me to do anything you wanted to do! You are unbelievable! Can you just fucking go away?!" I was trying to hold back tears at this point.
"You're just mad you got clanked you fucking shuck! Get bent!" Kel butted in.. Everyone stopped talking and focused on Kel. No one but I actually knew what he was saying. He started to look embarrassed.
"He means you're just fucking mad you got rejected you fucking idiot! Drop dead!" I translated and everyone made 'oohing' noises. Mike looked to both him and I.
"You two are ridiculous! The fag and the fucking whore! I'm done with this shit of no one liking me! Fuck you all assholes!" Mike stuck both middle fingers high up in the air and turned and walked away. Kel looked to Tony confused.
“So who’s the fag and who’s the whore?” He whispered to him. Which led him to let out a small chuckle. Part of me thinks Kel was trying to make light of the situation, but part of me wonders if he actually was asking.
I felt hot tears run down my face but I couldn’t help but laugh at Kel’s comment.. Tony held my head in his hands and placed a kiss on my forehead.
"It'll be ok Axl." Tony said in a reassuring voice. Jaime came from the other side of the table and him and Kel rubbed my back to soothe me. I heard yelling.
"Get the fuck away from me! You asshole!" It was Lian. The yelling sounded close. I got up quickly from the table and Tony, Jaime, Kel and I started running to try and find her. I could see her. But in front of her were two tall men yelling at each other and one of them hit the other. Mike slapped Austin.
"You wanna fucking go Fuentes?!" Austin yelled. Then with a quick pull back, punched Mike in the jaw. Mike held his jaw in his hand. He then looked at Austin with a death glare. Mike went to raise his hand but Austin punched him in the jaw again and once in the stomach.
"That'll teach you to fucking touch Alex or Lian again! What did Lian or Alex ever do to you?!" Austin looked down to Mike who was now on the floor in the fetal position. He put the sole of his boot on Mike's side.
"Fuck you Carlile!" Mike put his middle finger up.
Kel broke away from our little group and pushed his way to where Mike was. He got down onto his knee in front of Mike and grabbed his chin forcefully.
"I don't fucking care if you don't understand 50's lingo. I'll say it in a way that your pea brain will understand. You fucking talk to Alex or Lian again I will hit you in your Adam's apple and you will die. I guarantee that." He threw his head out of his hand and got up, going to comfort Lian. We were all in shock.
"Ooh Mr. Fucking 50's makes a threat! I ain't scared of your shit Kel!" Mike spat. Austin quickly lowered himself in front of Mike and grabbed his neck.
"Shut your fucking mouth Fuentes. You have no right to talk to Alex or Lian. And Kel is great, I don't know what you're talking about. Now get the fuck out of my sight!" Austin spat taking letting go of his neck.
Mike quickly got up brushed the dirt off of his clothes. Mike shot a smirk at me and then turned to leave. He turned around quick.
"I won't be on the bus tonight. See you fuckers tomorrow night." Mike turned around and left trying not to walk weird because of the hits he had taken in the fight.
Mike always has to fuck shit up... I'm happy I won't have to deal with him until tomorrow night.
