The First Punch

It was finally the end of the day and there was a huge party going on the BMTH bus. We were going to go there but for the past 20 minutes or so it has just been Tony, Lian, Jaime, Kel, Vic, Ray, and I chilling in the bus. The Of Mice boys were with us but they left to go to the party.
“Should we go now?” Vic suggested. Ray nodded her head. “Anyone else?” Vic took Ray’s hand.
“I think the rest of us will head over there in a little bit.” I looked to Tony. He nodded.
“Okay! See you guys in a bit!” Vic led Ray out of the bus and the door shut behind them.
“Are they a thing now? Like seriously? Have they even ever talked before?” I asked slightly annoyed because I thought the hardly even knew each other..
“They’ve been talking since last years Warped and they’ve become close actually.. At first we all thought they were just friends but I think they’re a thing now.” Jaime explained.
“Well they fucked yesterday.. I mean I could see them being a thing.” Tony expressed. He looked at me then smiled, placing his hand on my thigh.
“So Kel are you going to go to the party?” Lian asked Kel.
“I really don’t know. Being around a lot of people makes me loose my cool..” Kel said looking down as if he has disappointed us. He started to play with his size 0 plugs in his ears.
“Do you just want to chill on the bus while the rest of us go? I’m dying to see Matt Kean! I haven’t seen him in forever!” I asked Kel. He was still playing with his ears.
“Do you guys have a speaker in here or the back lounge?” Kel asked quietly, looking directly at me.
“Yeah, I’m pretty sure there is.” I didn’t question why because I just knew he wanted to blast 50’s music. I giggled at the thought. Then Tony looked at me and started smiling because he thought my giggle was ‘cute’. I think it’s childish but hey.. If he thinks it is thats great.
“Ok cool.. Are you guys leaving soon?” Kel asked.
“I think Jamie and I will leave now. You leaving now Talex?” Lian got up and giggled. Her hand flew up to cover her mouth as she laughed. I looked at Tony with a confused face and he just shrugged his shoulders.
“Talex? What the fuck is a Talex?” I questioned Lian.
“Talex! It’s the ship name for you and Tony! Do you guys like it?!” She seemed so proud of herself which made me laugh.
“Yes, I love it Li! And I think we will leave now..” With that I got up and Tony got up too. We all started to head for the door. Before I left the bus I yelled out, “Bye Kel!!”.
When we got off of the bus Tony and I walked hand in hand and so did Jaime and Lian. After about a minute of two of walking we finally found their bus. It wasn’t that hard to find seeing that it was basically blaring out music. When we got closer to the bus I saw that there were people chilling outside of the bus on a couch… I have no clue where they got the couch from but it looked nice! I started to recognize the people outside, Matt Kean was there and so was Alan and Tino from Of Mice.
Once Matt saw me he started to run towards me. I broke away from Tony’s hand and ran towards Matt. He stopped moving and I jumped onto him in a hug. He spun me around and put me down. He let me out of his arms and looked down to me, with a smile on his face.
“Cavella! I haven’t seen you since Austin’s birthday party!! How are you?! Oh and how are you and Tony? I hear Mike's a total wanker. Sucks to have to deal with his bloody nonsense all the time. He's not coming to the party right? Cause all of Bring Me, Of Mice, and Motionless in White are ready to seriously fuck him up.” Matt said quickly. I laughed at how he was rushing to push out the words. It was also funny that he was the only person who has ever called me by my last name. Everyone else just calls me Alex and Tony calls me Axl.
“He’s not coming tonight. No one knows where he went and frankly no one really cares. But yeah I’m doing better. How’ve you been?” I asked. Tony, Lian, and Jamie caught up to me and Tony entwined my fingers with his.
“Actually not too bad Cavella! I’ve a serious girlfriend, it’s fucking great. But I can’t see her for a long bit.” He scratched at the back of his neck.
“So are all of the band guys in there?” Lian asked.
“Yeah a lot of people are in there. You guys want something to drink?” Matt offered us all.
“You guys got beer?” Jaime asked. Matt looked at him with an ‘are you kidding me face’ and he laughed. He led us all to a cooler by the door to the bus. We started to dig through the cooler and Lian, Jamie, and Tony all took out a bottle, and twisted the top off. I turned to Matt.
“Got anything stronger?” He laughed and waved me inside the bus. When we got on I noticed an assortment of bottles on the counter. I went strait for the whiskey bottle that only had a sip or two left in it, I picked it up and drank the rest of it. I heard cheering from behind me, when I looked back I saw Oli and Austin looking at me and cheering. I guess they were cheering because I drank whiskey. Drunk band members are weird; but I love them all… Except Mike, I fucking despise Mike.
“Eyyyyyyy Alex! Is Mike fucking bothering you? Hopefully not cause he’s gonna fucking get it if he bothers you!” Oli came over to me and put his arm around me.
“Nah Oli. He’s not bothering me as of right now.” I said laughing because of how he was talking. I felt my phone starting to ring in my pocket. I didn’t feel like picking it up so I just ignored it and went along talking to Oli. As I was about to start talking I felt my phone start to ring again. Oh my God, What does this person want?! I viciously pulled the phone out of my pocket and saw that Kel was calling me.
“Hel-“ I started to talk but Kel cut me off.
“Alex! Mike is in the bus, and he is threatening me! I locked myself in the bathroom, but I’m scared! Help me Alex!” Kel was whispering. In the background I could hear Mike yelling things.
“Once you come out of that bathroom I swear to God you’re gonna get it! I’ll fuck you up!” Mike yelled on the other side of the door. I heard banging on the other end.
“Alex, help me please!” Kel pleaded sounding like he was on the verge of tears.
“Give me one second Kel. Don’t hang up!” I took the phone away from my ear and looked back at Austin and Oli who were looking a me curiously.
“What’s happening? Who is that?” Oli asked trying to pry the answer out of me. Even though I was going to tell him in a second he wouldn’t let up on asking.
“Ok so this is what’s going down. So Kel is back at the bus, Mike is in the bus and threatening him, Kel’s locked in a bathroom, we should go help right?” I asked. Their faces looked like they were ready to fight. Austin walked over to where the music was playing from and turned it off.
“Who here doesn’t really like Mike Fuentes?” Austin turned to talk to the crowd of people on the bus. The bus erupted with cheers, which I guess meant that they didn’t like Mike. “Well you see there’s a little thing happening on the PTV bus.. Kel, the 50’s guy, might be in danger. Lets help.” Austin turned towards the door. I chuckled at the fact that, in that moment he sounded like a superhero.
He started to walk for the door and almost the whole crowed of people on the bus were leaving and heading for the PTV bus.
Mike will get what he deserves.
