The First Punch

-Vic’s POV-
“I know some of you guys don’t know the lyrics to our songs, you just mouth random fucking words. You better fucking know this song! So sing and scream it with all your heart! All right… WHAT THE FUCK!..”
It was the last song that Motionless was going to play today and we were watching them preform. Tony was staring at Ryan as he played and Jaime had a huge smile on his face, sining and screaming the words. I was also singing and screaming the words. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked back to see Austin and Alan.
“Hey, what are you doing here Aus?” I asked while nodding my head to the music.
“I needed to talk to you and Alex said you were here. So that’s why I’m here!” He started bouncing up and down to the beat of the song.
“Talk after the song?” I said over the music. Giving me the thumbs up.
I turned back around to watch the rest of the set. When the song ended the boys got off the stage coming towards us.
“Tony! Alan! What’s up guys?!” Ryan and Ricky came over to him and Ricky pulled him into a bro hug. Then they started talking as they all walked down the stairs to behind the stage.
“Austin! Vic! How’d you guys like the show? Was it alright?” Chris asked.
“It was great! You guys always put on a good show. Before the last song was the best though. When you talked about knowing the song.. It was awesome. The guys and I were laughing.” I said shaking his hand.
“I was only here for Immaculate Misconception. But it was great!” Austin said shaking his hand.
Jaime was then greeted by Ghost. And we all walked to where Tony had gone with the others.
“Do you guys want to go back to our bus and chill?” Chris suggested.
“Vic and I have to have a chat but the rest of you guys can go if you want. I’ll come after we talk.” Austin stated.
“Ok cool.”
"Where’s Mike though?” Balz questioned. Tony’s face turned from smiling to pissed off. “Did something happen to him?” He noticed Tony. “Something.. bad?”
“Bad.. Yeah he did something pretty fucking bad which has led to tons of fans and me hating him! He’s a fucking prick.” Tony snarled.
“What did he do?” Ryan asked.
“Tony, let’s not get into this now.” Jaime tried to waiver his concentration on the topic.
“No, he fucking beat Axl all the time and he even knew that she had a history of abuse..” Tony spat at Jaime.
“Axl.. As in your sweet merch girl Alexandria?” Ricky said with a pissed of face plastered on him. “He’s gonna fucking get it, Oh my God..”
“I already got to him. He’s in the bus now trying to ‘calm down’ he’s probably fucking or getting drunk.” Austin pointed out.
“Next time I see he better watch the fuck out cause I swear to God, she’s so sweet, she shouldn’t be getting hit!” Ricky snarled.
“Well Ricky, Ghost, Balz, Alan, and Ryan are coming to the MIW bus. Are you guys going?” Chris pointed to Tony and Jaime.
“I’ll go, I’ve nothing better to do.” Jaime said.
“I don’t know, I might just chill at the merch tent with Axl till we have to close up.”
“Okay see you guys!” Chris waved and all of the guys left. Tony followed to head to the merch tent.
Austin and I sat down on the grassy area behind the stage as we watched MIW’s crew taking their equipment off of the stage.
“So I was talking to Alex and she had a concern about something that you said. And she wanted clarification but didn’t want to ask in fear of hurting your feelings.” Austin explained to me.
“So what is it? Why would I have hurt feelings?”
“Well she said that the day you left for tour, when she told you about Mike hitting her, you told her that you had always cared about her.” I nodded. “Well she was wondering if you meant in a friend way or like more than just friends?”
“Well when I first met her it was very in a more than friends way. But as I spent more time with her and she looked happy with Mike it kind of turned into just friends. I look at her as someone I care about as a friend, not really a partner. You get it?” Austin nodded and he put his hand on the side of my arm by my bicep.
“Thanks dude, she was really stirring about it. Well I’m going to the MIW bus. Are you coming?” Austin got up and looked down to me.
“I think I’m gonna go to our bus and check on Mike.” I got up, and we started to walk to where the busses were.
When I got to the bus Austin had already made it to the MIW bus. I punched in the code and opened the door. When I got into the front lounge I saw empty whiskey and beer bottles and heard moaning.
Ugh Mike.. You may be my brother but you disgust me. I yelled his name and I heard a thump come from the bunks. He must’ve hit his head. I heard rustling and Mike stumbled out of his bunk.
“Eyyy bro! Whateryoudoinghere?” Mike slurred with a concoction of liquor on his breath.
“Mike you need to straighten up. The band and Alex will be coming back in a few hours. Get that chick out of here and fucking clean up the bottles!” I was fuming. Mike laughed.
“Fuck that bitch Alex. She never loved me. Well fuck her too. I have this bitch Cla- Can- whateverthefuck her name is.” He laughed even more. “Come here bro. I needa tell you a secret.”
I went towards him and he leant over to my ear.
“I fuckin’ hate Tony.. He’s a prick. Stealin’ my girl and shit.” He slurred. I looked up to him in disgust.
“She tried to love you but you hurt her.. a lot.. You never deserved her. At least Tony is treating her well. You treated her like complete shit! Of course she wouldn’t love you!” I shook my head and flipped him off. I then turned around and walked off the bus.
He is such a dick. I can see one of the many reasons why Tony and Alex hate him.
