Another You

i walked into my room and slid off all of my clothes. To be honest, sleeping with silk sheets naked is the best. i pull the covers up and plug my I phone into the doc and played my sleeping playlist. i hear Clairvoyant by the story so far and climb into bed. god, i haven't been this tired in a while.
soon i feel sleep take me over and drag me down.

Flashback/dream.

''Mum?" i call out, wiping my eyes from the problem my father just gave me. He had thrown me on the ground and kicked me everywhere.

''mum?" i called out again reaching for the door handle, tugging it open. i find my mother on the bed clutching a note. iam quick to pick it up and read it.

i am so sorry to leave you but this pain is to much. down below i have writen your bank account information for you to head out. leave this dreadful place and that dreadful man. "MOM WAKE UP PLEASE!" i yell and start shaking her. i run out of the room and grab my cellphone. my father shouldn't be home until later.

''911 whats your emergency?" a man asked. ''help my mum committed suicide and my father is on his way back. please hurry. he might hit me again.'' i say quickly.

''okay sweetie whats your name? i just sent out a dispatcher. it will be there in 5 minuets. find a place to hide.'' he said.

''im Evolet.'' i say pulling myself out the window and onto the roof.

''okay Evolet, I'm Conner. how old are you?" he asks.''17. he just pulled into the driveway.'' i say and lay down on the roof. he wasn't supposed to be home until like 4!

''okay they are a minute away can you hear them?" he asks and i pull my phone away from my ear and listen. i hear the sirens.

''yeah i do. Conner please i know i sound like a little kid but im really fucking scared.'' i said.

''EVOLET WHERE ARE YOU!!??" he called out and i take a deep breath.

''was that him evolet?" he asks and i whisper a yes. ''its okay to be scared Eve. just stay on the line with me okay?" he asks and i reply with a okay back. i see the men pull into the drive way and i stand up and wave my hands. ''Hey shes up there!!" one of them yell and storm into the house. i hear a lot of russling and yelling and it stops.

''evolet, they are there and you are safe. im going to hang up now okay?" he asks.

''wait whats your last name!!" i quickly ask.''larson.'' and he hangs up.

''Hey darling? you wanna come down?" one officer asks and i nod and climb back in through the window.

''is he gone?" i whisper and he wraps a blanket around me considering its fucking freezing and i have a tank top and shorts.

''he is gone and you are safe.'' he says
