JOSH'S P.O.V.

First block.to anyone else, having math this early in the morning would make them grouchy and unhappy. To me, it brings a smile on my face. Not because of the subject though. It was because of a girl I can come to know pretty well named Tarra.

I've barely known the girl a week and Im already starting to develope feelings for her. Normally, I don't have crushes or things like that, hence why I am the only single person in our rather large group of friends. Tarra though, she's different.

If Im away from her for more than an hour, she's all I can think about. Her smile, everytime I see it my heart flutters. Being around her, I have to force myself to look away.

"Josh!" Tarra exclaimed, laying her head on my shoulder, sending fireworks everywhere. I swear if I was made out of gun powder I would explode everytime she touched me .

Our desks are more like tables, two people per table. Luckily, I got paired with her so I was next to her every morning. "Tarra." I replied, earning a groan from said girl.

"Why is he so boring?" She whines, refering to our teacher, Mr. Kinard. "I swear, if he was anymore dull that I would have to shoot him." She joked.

"There is a downside to that plan though." I stated.

"And what would that be?" She asks, turning her head a bit but not taking it off my shoulder.

I turned my head a bit to look at her, my nose brushing against hers, making me melt a bit inside. I felt her breathe fanning against my lips and a smile tugged at the corners of my lips. "Cause then I wouldn't be able to see you anymore." I whisper.

A smile ghosted across her lips. "That was really cheesey." She giggled.

"Yeah. It was true though. I don't know what I would do if you were gone."

"Just do what you did before you met me." She shrugged.

"Who says I was happy before I met you?" I questioned.

"I could say the same. You make me forget about all the bad." She says and lays her head back on my shoulder. I rested my head on top of hers.

"What do you mean? What was bad?" I asked, hoping I wasn't crossing any boundaries by asking.

"That's a story for another time." She mummbles.

"Alright. Im sorry for asking."

"Its fine. You didn't know."

"Im still sorry."

After school I promised Tarra I would walk with her to work. She said she had to go in a bit earlier today since they had two people quit recently. Her boss told her she needed to pull a bit more weight until they could hire a few more employees.

From the school, the shop is about a ten minute walk. No one that we know has a car besides Angelo. I wanted to spend as much time with her as I could though so I was ok with walking.

Right now, Im waiting outside for Tarra. She had to go to her locker to grab some stuff before we set off. I promised her I would wait outside in the meantime.

All day I had been wondering about what the bad things that had happened to Tarra were. From what she said earlier, im not gonna push it out of her. She'll tell me when she's ready, or she never will but that's up to her.

I felt someone jump on my back and wrap their legs around my waist. "Im a koala." I heard Tarra yell.

"And Im a kangaroo." I said sarcasically and started walking, carrying 'Tarra the Koala' on my back.

"Then bounce." She giggled. That was probably the most adorable noise ever. I love her laugh.

"I refuse to bounce to the donut shop." I replied, laughing a little. "I'll just be a cammel instead." I shrugged.

"Im ok with that." She says as she hops off my back. We were all the way across the school parking lot now. I internally sigh at the loss of contact I have with her but then I threw my arm around her shoulders in a friendly gesture. She wrapped her arm around my waist and a smile grew on my face.

Before I wanted our time to be over it was. We had arrived at the small shop that she worked at. "I'll see you later!" She says as she gives me a hug.

"Have a good rest of the day at work." I say, tightening my grip around her slightly.

"Ill do what I can." She laughs. I pull her back a little and smile at her.

"Ill see you later." I said and let go of her. She walked towards the shop and waved at me before walking inside. I waved back then started on my walk home.
