Brad and I just got back to my apartment. We were at the concert Josh was supposed to take me to but couldn't for reasons I still don't know. I haven't seen him in a week.

Since the day Josh came over, I have been a bit more distant towards Brad. I haven't cut him out completely but I haven't been as comfortable around him either.

Ryan is opening up a bit, finally. I have finally forgiven him for what he said to me. We're a bit closer than before now. I wouldn't say he's my best friend though. We aren't that close.

Right now, Im finishing up in the shower while Brad waits for me in my living room. I turned the water off then wrapped a towel around my body and my hair. I walked acroos the hallway and into the bedroom, locking my door behind me. I got dressed in one Josh's black Iron Maiden t-shirt he left her a while ago and some sophie shorts, then put my hair in a messy bun on top of my head.

I walked into the living room and sat beside Brad, who was on the phone. He's always on that thing. Everytime he comes over he has at least three people calling him. It's annoying. He hung up and slung an arm around my shoukder and gave me a small smile.

"Who was that?" I questioned curiously, leaning away from his closeness. He's been really flirty lately and I don't like it at all. I mean, he's always been a touchy person but lately he takes it to the extremes. Like while we were in line for the concert he tried holding my hand. While were at lunch he'll try putting his arm around my waist. I don't like it at all.

"Just Derek. He wanted to hang out." He shrugged.

"Why don't you go see him?" I offered, looking up at him.

He smiled down at me. "You wont mind me leaving?" He asked.

"No." I shook my head. "Im a little tired. I might go take a nap." I informed him.

"Alright. Well Im gonna go then. Ill see you later." He smiled and got off the couch. He gave me a hug then left. I went into my room and climb under my blankets then closed my eyes.

I felt like I had slept for hours. I opened my eyes and looked to my curtains to see that it was night time. I looked at my alarm clock and it read one AM. I heard my door open and closed then I started panicking.

Who is in my house?

I snuck into my hallway and saw a tall figure walking towards my room. I went back into my room and stayed by my door, getting ready to jump on whorver it was when that person got close enough.

They walked in and I jumped on their back. He, or she, fell on my bed with a loud groan. "Tarra stop!" It was a guy. It sounded a lot like Josh. I got off him and searched for my seitch then flipped it on. Sure enough, it was Josh who had came into my house at one in the morning.

"Josh! What the fuck?" I shouted. "You scared the hell out of me!" I sighed, running my hand over my face. "Why are you here at one in the morning?"

"Im sorry! I thought you were alseep! I just really wanted to see you and I couldn't call ahead of time." He explained, getting off my bed. He walked up to me and hugged me. "I missed you." He whispered.

I wrapped my arms around him. "I missed you to." I replied. He leaned down and connected his lips with mine in a soft kiss. "How long can you stay?"

"Until about three tomorrow. They all either have football practice or cheer practice. Im gonna spend all the time I can with you." I smiled at him as he hugged me closer. "Im sorry I came so late. Pretending to be drunk thrn slip out of a party they dragged me to is a lot harder than it seems when they wont leave you alone."

"Its fine. You're here now. Thats all that matters right now." I replied.

He mummbled something incoherent before leading me to my bed. I got back in my spot while he took off hisshirt and pants. It was something I was use to. When he would spend the night before this happened he would sleep in his underwear. Its something I've become use to, as weird as it sounds.

He slid under the blankets with me and pulled me close to his body. I sent him a small smile as he connected his lips with mine. "I love you." He whispered.

"I love you to Josh."

I nuzzled my head into the crook of his neck and amiled again to myself. I haven't been able to have him hold me so close like this in a long time. It feels good to have him back. I know its only until tomorrow but I'll take what I can get for as long as I can.

"Baby, what are you thinking about?" Josh asked me, pressing a loving kiss on my forehead.

"Nothing." I shrugged. "It doesn't matter."

"Why wouldn't it matter?" He questioned, looking down at me.

I shrugged again, staring at his chest. "Because I wont get the answer I need."

"What is it?"

"Why is this happening?" I asked. I saw his eyebrows furrow, a silent way of telling me to explain in more detail. "Who made you abandon us?"

"You know I can't tell you." He sighed.

"I don't see why not."

"Because if they find out I told you they're going to call social services."

"What do you mean?"

"Do you remember that day Ryan yelled at you because of what Ariel was going through?" I nodded, urging him to continue. "The three of us wrren't the only one's there. Somehow, someone else was there to, even though we didn't see them. That person heard you saying that your parents were dead. Since then, that person told a few of his friends and they made a plan to hurt our friends. They watched us, took notes, then realized that everyone's weak spot is you and their girlfriend or boyfriend. They all look at you as a brother or sister. If I don't do this then they'll have you taken away." His eeyes rimmed with tears as he said those things to me.

"You're going through all of this to protect me?" He nodded. "Josh, just let them call."

"Are you fucking crazy?"

"You're miserable! Josh I can't just let them tear you apart like this for me!"

"Im doing this so you can be happy!"

"I want you to be happy though. You deserve it."
