I was being shaken awake, and I had no clue why. I grumbled some profanities and rolled over onto my opposite side. I had no ambition of waking up right now, it was still dark outside from what I could tell but I wasn't sure, there was no way in hell I was giving in and opening my tired eyes.

"Phoenix, please wake up, I need to talk to you about something important." Alan said, continuously shaking me.

"Stop fucking touching me then." I growled, sitting up and rubbing my eyes.

"What could be so damn important at.. 3:34 am Alan?" I mumbled, still feeling the sleep in my body.

"I just wanted to talk about things with us, and I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't get this off my chest." He rushed, as he explained.

"Okay?" I said confused.

"Okay Phoenix." He began, taking my hand in his and caressing it gently.

"You know I love you so much, more than words. But, I know that even though Austin keeps fucking you over, something is telling me this isn't right and we shouldn't be together. As much as it pains me to say this. We both know it's true." He explained, more slowly this time.

I cleared my throat a little astonished by his words.

"Am I not good enough for you?" I asked, lowly.

"That's just the thing Phoen, I'm not good enough for you. You deserve so much more than me, and I'm fine with that. Because as much as I want this, I know it's not right. And maybe neither Austin or I are the one. But, I know you need someone better than us." He said, as I nodded.

"Okay, this caught me a little off guard. But, I appreciate you being honest. And if you don't mind, I'd like to go back to sleep. I do have to work tomorrow. Interviewing some band called Pierce the Veil." I said.

"Oh you'll love those guys! They're a blast! We toured with them, on warped. It was kickass." He spoke, enthusiastically about them.

"Okay, well goodnight Alan." I hummed, falling back into my pillow.

"Goodnight Phoen, see ya tomorrow." He said, as my bedroom door clicked shut.

The next morning I woke up, still tired. But, I blame Alan for that one. He left me with my thoughts after what he had said to me. I laid there till about 5:30 contemplating why he said what he did. It was now 7:30, and I'm still exhausted. I drug my body to the shower, and stepped into the piping hot water. Letting all the stress, and worries I had been carrying wash away down the drain. I washed my hair and shaved everywhere before stepping out and proceeding to get ready.

I threw on a pair of black skinny jeans and a red crop top, that was fitted like a t-shirt. Leaving my dream catcher belly ring exposed. I topped it off with my favorite pair of tye dye vans before, doing my hair and makeup. After I was ready I grabbed my keys, iPad, and was out the door. On my way to work.

I saw we had a new camera guy today. His name was Randy, and he was covered in tattoos and had decently sized gauges. We mingled for a bit, before I was told the guys would be in soon. I had the questions organized in the notes of my iPad. But, yet I was still nervous. I never got nervous before interviews, I was a natural at this stuff.

Randy was telling me a joke, as the guys walked in, tattoos, long hair, Mexican. Beautiful, really. Each of them were sexy in some sort of way. And I thought to myself, why didn't I go into music? Like damn, bands guys are so much hotter then my regular co-workers.

"Hey guys, I'm Phoenix! Nice to meet you." I said stretching my hand out for each of them to shake, which they gladly took. Even the one with spiky hair pulled me into a rather awkward hug.

"So we ready for the interview?" I questioned, and they all nodded.

The one with long brown hair, and tattoos took the seat closest to me. And I felt the heat arise to me cheeks. Why was I getting this way? Oh god, did I have a crush? No, be professional.

"Randy, are we ready?" I asked, and he nodded, counting down.

"Hey guys, Phoenix here with the lovely Pierce the Veil. Say hey guys, and introduce yourself, and name your roll on the band." I smiled.

"I'm Mike, and I play drums." He waved.

"Tony, guitar." He shyly smiled.

"I'm Jaime, and I play bass." He smiled, as his gorgeous dimples sunk in his face.

"Uh, I'm Vic, and I sing and play guitar." He smiled.

"Okay well, you're album Collide with the Sky is doing rather well, what's your favorite song to play love from that album?" I asked.

"Uh, I'd have to say Hold On Till May, only because it means so much to us, and then watching the reactions from the fans is always incredible. You can just tell it means something more to them." Vic said, confident.

"Okay, so you guys are known as 'Mexicore' what is that exactly?" I laughed, as did they.

"Well it's just easy for us to say that. Were four Mexicans playing hardcore music, so mexicore was created." Jaime laughed.

They interview went smoothly. And everyone had a great time, I even heard Randy chuckle every once in a while. You could tell that the guys just loved what they did. And they loved their fans more then anything.

"Thanks again guys." I chimed, settling everything into my bag.

"Oh it was no problem." Vic smiled.

I heard Wolf calls, and whistles as they other guys left the room. But Vic stayed behind, smiling like an idiot at me.

"Do you need something?" I laughed.

"I was just wondering if we could exchange numbers possibly? I would really love to get to know you Phoenix." He said nervously.

"Uh of course." I said, handing him my phone, and he handed me his.

"You'll definitely be hearing from me." He winked, walking out the door.

"Looking for to it."
