Native Tongue

"Aria when I first met you. No. When I first laid eyes on you I knew there was something about you that I needed to know, from our balcony encounter to our sleepover I wanted to get to know you as an individual and from there our relationship blossomed. Simply I am at a loss for words. You are beautiful, remarkable, intelligent, and most of you're the girl I have fallen in love with the past three months. Aria will you marry me?" he said.

"Of course I will marry you," I said gushing. He slipped on the ring, and I couldn't help but fall into him crying tears of joy.

"I love you so much," I said into his chest.

"And I love you," he whispered.

The next morning I woke up before Austin. I just laid there taking everything in. I am going to be Mrs. Carlile. "Wow," I mumbled. That would suck if this was a dream.

"Good morning Mrs. Carlile," he yawned.

"And good morning to you too Mr. Carlile," I turned over.

We just stared into each others eyes.

"What?" I smiled.

"I'm marrying you," he chuckled.

"Is that a bad thing?" I asked.

"No not at all. It's all I ever wanted," kissing my forehead.

"The guys want to take us out for drinks tonight," Austin said.

"They do?" I asked.

"To celebrate our engagement. They kinda already know because yesterday when you were out with Amanda I made an announcement, and they wanted to go last night, but I told them no because last night I asked you to marry me," he smiled.

"Ahhh I see. I'd love to celebrate," pecking him on the lips.

"So have you talked to Hannah lately?" Austin wondered.

Woe I haven't heard that name is forever, nor I haven't heard from that name in forever. "No. We haven't talked in three weeks," I said.

"I ask because Warped Tour is this week, and I'm wondering if you still wanted to go," he said.

"Of course I do. I probably should get back on the band wagon of talking to her again. I do miss her and I wonder how she's doing," I said.

"Well I'm going to get ready for the day, and head to the studio. After I'll call you, and we can meet up for drinks with the boys?" he asked

"Sounds perfect. I think I'll just lay here for a little longer and soak in the engagement maybe even text Hannah," I finally said.

How do I even tell my best friend whom I haven't talked to in almost a month that I'm engaged, let alone pregnant, and granted I haven't even talked to my mom in a month, but I should at least be talking to Hannah. So I got of bed and searched for my phone.

"Hey babe long time no see! Warped Tour is this week, and I can't wait to finally see my best friend. I have lots to tell you. Call me when you get this. Xx" Message sent.

I set my phone down, and took a deep breath.

"Hey babe are you still here? I have something to tell you," I called out.

"Yeah?" he called from the room over. "What it is you have to tell me?" turning the corner.
I sat on the sink, and took a deep breath.

"I don't know where to start, but I'm just going to come out and say it," I hesitated. "I'm pregnant," I finally said.
