Chapter Forty

Austin

Watching Brooklyn was awesome, but even if it was first show I just felt something

was off.

I doubled check on Emily, but I knew she would be fine cause Brittany hangs out on

the tour bus until Matty's set.

Looking back out at Brooklyn I smiled as I watched her do what she loved to do.

"Okay y'all so this next song is new it comes out as a single in two weeks but we

are playing it for our shows. Please help me bring out the one and only Austin

Carlile!" Brooklyn said into the mic and the whole place went crazy.

I walked out and gave all the guys fist pumped and hugged Aleah.

Brooklyn gave me a quick kiss.

"Alright let's start this shit everyone jump!" Brooklyn yelled.

Then on we went.

-Brooklyn (some what of a time skip after her set)-

We had finished and I was so tired, but I had to stay because I was singing with Of

Mice.

After about 10 minutes into their set I started feeling like someone was watching

me.

I looked behind me and saw no one, but I could feel like someone's eyes were

burning into my skin.

The last two songs on their set I was singing with them.

"Okay here is Brooklyn helping us out with these last songs!" Austin said and I

walked out giving all the guys hugs.

We started the new song off the album that I was featured on (Another You by Of

Mice & Men)

Brooklyn: White walls

Filled with nothing

But nervous paces

All around I see.

Something's off

I looked up at Austin and he grabbed my hand, we were both singing to each other

by now.

We finished and the crowd was crazy! They were screaming so loudly.

"Thank you guys! Brooklyn actually helped write this song so give it up for her!"

Aaron said and I blushed waving.

"Okay last song you all know. Get up!" Austin yelled.

We started singing Second & Sebring (Second & Sebring by Of Mice & Men)

Brooklyn: I believe it's time for me to be famous,

And out of place.

Austin: This time I'll make you,

Brooklyn: Proud to see me over, come on daylight.

Austin: Proud of, who you raised.

Brooklyn: Your shelter, your peacefulness.

Watching Austin do this song was always amazing. He put so much emotion behind

it and it was amazing.

I knew he missed his mom a lot and I wish I would be able to trade places to bring

her back for him.

Austin: I hope, I hope you smile,

I hope that I make you proud.

I grabbed Austin's hand.

I took a deep breath and looked up at Austin seeing him crying.

I started crying and put my hand on his face as he closed his eyes leaning into my

hand.

Austin opened his eyes and looked at me.

I was crying and he smiled leaning down kissing me.

We both didn't even notice the crowd, although they were screaming so loud.

"I love you." I mouthed.

"I love you more." Austin mouthed back and gave me another kiss.

We smiled and thanked the crowd leaving, but right before I left the stage I saw

those eyes.
