Chapter Thirty-Nine

Brooklyn

We arrived in San Diego and I was so excited for the opening show tonight!

I was currently with Matty's wife, Brittany who has been my best friend since freshman

year of high school.

Yeah we went to high school together and yes I hung out with Matty.

"So I see you have a mini me on this tour." Brittany said nodding behind me.

I turned and saw Emily doing the workbook I gave her.

"Yeah. Her name is Emily and she is 10 years old, Austin and I um took her in because

she was being abused by her parents."

Brittany gasped and shook her head, "That is disgusting!"

I nodded, "Well since you will be here all tour you can help me while I have my set and

Austin has his,"

"Oh yeah aren't you guys doing a new song together? For like each of your sets?"

"Yeah, um their new album is done and I'm doing a song with Austin on the actual

album and we wrote a new single that will be released in two weeks and he is on it."

Brittany nodded and we started talking about everything.

*Time Skip*

I was putting on a black tank top and red, black, and white plaid button up. Though

without it buttoned.

"You look really pretty!" Emily said as I walked out of the bunk area.

"Thank you so much!" I smiled and gave her a hug.

Grabbing my throat lozenges and started sucking on one as I hummed to myself.

After it was done I put two extra in my pocket and grabbing Emily's hand walking out.

We got to the venue and I walked with Emily to the green room.

"Okay Emily this is Matty's wife Brittany and she'll be watching you while I have my

set."

Brittany introduced herself and Emily got along with okay so far.

Gabe came and got me which Emily walked with me.

I grabbed my guitar and started strumming along.

Everyone got together and I started, "Okay guys first show back! Let's go out there and

give those kids the best show we can!"

Everyone cheered.

"We are at, we are, we are, at The End of Time!"

Everyone started going out and I strummed my guitar some.

The crowd was amazing.

I ran out and up to my mic, "Get the fuck up and scream with me!" I yelled.
