Two Wrongs Don't Make It Right

She pulls me onto the bus and sits me down rubbing her hand up and down my back. The guys are all sitting there with confused yet concerned faces. It only makes me cry harder.

“Hun what happened? Are you ok?” She asks softly.

“Do I look okay?” I choke out. She flinches at my harsh tone. “I just… caught… Austin cheating.” I manage to say between sobs.

She gasps and looks at the guys. Vic sits down on my other side. Mike and Tony looked seriously pissed off and Jaime looks disappointed.

“What did you say to him?” Vis asks.

“I told him it was over. I told him to not try to contact me and to not try to come see me.” I tell them. “I just wanna go home.”

Do you want to try and stick it out for the next three weeks or do you want to go home and send one of the girls from the store out?” Chloe questions me.

“I want to stick it out but I can’t be around him. If I see him I don’t know what I’ll do and he’s just going to try and apologize and get me back. I can’t deal with that. I think it is best if I go home.” I say softly looking down at my fingers.

Chloe nods her head before pulling out her phone. She dials a number before standing and heading to the back room. Tony takes her place and pulls me into his chest. I curl into him and my tears start to stain his shirt as he rubs my back

“He’s an asshole Autumn. He doesn’t deserve you and you don’t deserve to be treated like that.” He tells me kissing the top of my head. The rest of the guys agree as Chloe comes back out.

“Okay so I just called Meagan. She’s agrees to come out and help here, so I booked you a flight home once we get to Chicago. Your flight is at 8:30AM. We better get going. It’s a 6 hour drive there.” She explains.

“I’ll ride with you guys.” Tony says.

“Me too.” Vic states and we all stand up.

Mike and Jaime hug me saying they are sorry and that they would see me when they got back from tour. I smile softly before walking off the bus. Tony wraps his arm around me as we hear footsteps running up to us. I look over my shoulder before turning and pushing my head into Tony’s chest more.

“Autumn wait please. I am so sorry. I was drunk and I don’t know what came over me.” He pleads. I glare at him.

I don’t say anything to him as I step forward and bring my hand back whipping it forward. The sound of my palm making contact with his cheek cracks through the empty parking lot.

“Being drunk is not an excuse Austin. You just couldn’t keep it in your pants when you were too drunk to realize what you were doing until it was too late.” I growl.

“If you remember correctly that is exactly how you and I started in the first place.” He retaliates. Tears spring to my eyes again and I whimper. Tony comes up next to me.

The crunching sound of Tony’s fist connecting with Austin’s nose is something I won’t forget for a very long time. Austin crumples to the ground groaning in pain as blood seeps through his fingers.

“Don’t you dare talk to her like she is just some cheap groupie!” Tony yells at him. “The only thing you are pissed about is that you screwed up. So don’t take it out on her! You are just rubbing salt into a very fresh wound and ruining any chance that she would forgive you.”

I grab his arm and pull him away from Austin. I tightly wrap myself around his waist and we walk away. I look back at Austin and shake my head at him. He had tears in his eyes. Whether it was from the fact that Tony broke his nose or the fact that he just lost me was sinking in I couldn’t tell you. Either way I didn’t care. He wasn’t the one that just got their heart broke.
