Two Wrongs Don't Make It Right

Three weeks of work to condyle ready. Everyone was loving clothes. We even had order more of a few items. Chloe had gotten awfully close to the older Fuentes brother. As for me I was keeping Austin close but not too close. He was definitely the person on tour that I had gotten the closest to, but I didn't want that right now.

Austin had admitted to me a couple days after he drove us to San Francisco and he didn't actually missed the bus. He was hoping I'd say yes to letting him ride with us. I was mad at first because he lied, but I got over it fairly quickly because I thought it was cute that he wanted to spend time with me.

Tonight we were in Detroit and we had an off day tomorrow. I was just finishing helping a few customers when I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist and set their chin on top of my head.

"Austin are you ever going to get over the fact that you're a foot taller than me?" I asked huffing and handing the girl her change.

"Nope I find it extremely adorable." He replies. He sits on the table and looks at me smiling.

"What are you so happy about." I questions as I tidy up a bin of tanks marking down how many of each size we have left.

"How much do you love me?"

"Never said I did actually." I joke.

"Well you're going to love me now that." He says matter-of-factly.

"Why is that?" Ask standing up and walking to him. He hooks his fingers in my belt loops and pulls me closer. The breath hitches my throat.

"I can't tell you, it's a surprise for tomorrow night." He tells me.

I look at him skeptically. What did you have planned? I would have to talk to Chloe and see if they can do anything. My stomach filled with butterflies. He had a surprise for me. He went out of his way to make me happy. He could be such a sweetheart. It was times like these that I wanted to pull him closer and not let go.

"Be ready at 4 PM and meet me by the gates." He said he stood up and dipped his head kissing my forehead before disappearing out of the tent.

"What was that all about?" Chloe asks haven't walked in is Austin kissed my forehead.

"He said he has a surprise for me tomorrow. Do you know anything about it? His Vic said anything?." I question her.

She shakes her head looking at me.

"You know he's not going to play puppy dog forever." I gave her a quizzical look. "Oh come on Autumn he's crazy about you. Everyone but you sees it. If you don't do anything about it he's eventually going to get fed up. Every window has a set of shelflife. I would hate to see such a perfect one go to shit because you are too afraid that you will lose focus of line. If you haven't noticed it's a huge hit. Let loose a little and give the poor dog a bone. He is such an awesome guy." She says.

I sit down and think about what she said. Did he really like me like that? Sure he was flirty but I thought that was just how he was. Chloe had a valid point that if he did want more that he wasn't going to wait around forever. I stood back up and continue to take inventory. I need to distract myself. Austin kept sleeping back in my thoughts. I had a feeling that the matter how hard I tried Austin would always be on my mind.
