Two Wrongs Don't Make It Right

As I got ready for Austin’s surprise I checked twitter, smiling to myself when I saw a post from Austin.

[b][i]@AustinCarlile:[/b] So excited to spend the night off in Detroit with [b]@WiltedAutumn.[/b][/i]

I quickly typed a response and hit enter waiting to see if I got a reply.

[b][i]@WiltedAutumn:[/b] I would be more excited about it if [b]@AustinCarlile[/b] would tell me what kind of clothes I needed to wear.[/i]

My phone vibrated and I picked it up seeing a new text from Austin. I unlocked my phone and read it.

[i]Jeans and the shirt you had on the night of the party. Bring a jacket.[/i]

[b]To: Austin. 2:47PM[/b]
[i]Where are you taking me?[/i]

[b]From: Austin 2:47PM[/b]
[i]Don’t worry about it. I know you will love it. Just do what I say an I will see you in an hour.[/i]

I scroll thought pictures to see what shirt I had on the night I met Austin. I smiles when I saw it was my Red Wings shirt. I furrowed my brows, what did he have up his sleeve?

I applied my make-up winging out the corners of my eyeliner and doing a heavy smoky eye. As for my hair I threw some curls into it and called it done. Digging through my bag I found the shirt I was looking for. I put it on and changed my jeans to a pair of dark blue skinnies.

Once I was finished I walked to the Pierce The Veil bus to find Chloe. I knocked on the door and Mike opened it. He whistled at me and stepped aside.

“Who did you get all dolled up for?” He asks.

“This isn’t dolled up. I am still in jeans.” I say plopping down next to Jaime.

“Come on now Autumn you have on your ‘Fuck Me’ jeans on and you put a lot of effort into your hair and make-up. As far as tour dolled up gets you are totally there.” Chloe says laughing.

She and Vic had become quite the item. They were so cute together too. She had met him that first night and they had hit it off immediately. She told me that she knew she was falling for him and that the sex was fantastic. I really was happy that she found someone that was as nice and that treated her like she deserved.

“Whatever. I just want to know what we are doing and won’t tell me.” I huffed crossing my arms.

“When is it ever bad thing that a guy plans an entire evening for a girl?” Vic questions me already knowing the answer. “Just trust that he knows you well enough to make it something that you’ll love.”

“Why do you always have to be so smart?” I ask.

“It’s a gift.” He says laughing.

I check my phone to see what time it is. [b]3:38PM[/b] stares back at me. I stand up and fix my shirt.

“Are you sure I look okay?” I question nervously.

“You look gorgeous. He’ll drool.” Mike says. I kiss him on the cheek and thank him before hugging them all goodbye.

As I walk toward the gates I pull out my phone and text Austin that I am on my way to the gates and that I would be there in about five minutes. He replies with an ‘ok’.

I put my phone away and realize that I am really nervous. Was this a date? Was it just us hanging out? He never really said. My stomach filled with butterflies and a lump formed in my throat. Why was I so nervous, it was Austin? Everything was going to be fine. Right?
