I woke up in a bed. "No no no!!" I screamed. I started yanking my IV and other lines that were going to my arm.


"Mam, we need you to take a deep breath. Can you do that?" A calming womans voice said. I did as I was told and calmed down.

"He will come for me." I said slightly crying. She took my hand.

"Your neighbor called 911. Police locked him up darling." She said. I couldn't help but let the smile run across my lips.

But... What neighbor. The house next to my bedroom, has been sold but empty for months.

I was to lost in thought to notice my stomach was rolling and the nurse giggled.

"We will bring food up. Any request?" She asked nicely.

"Pancakes?" I replied and she left. Only to come back in.

"I forgot... You have a visitor." She said warmly. I smiled back and looked at the person.

"Dorothy?" I exclaimed.
