Chapter 15

Austin:
This is going to be a shit fest.

"You couldn't have told me this before?!" I hissed at our tour manager.

"I don't understand what the problem is, Austin. You guys have toured together hundreds of times."

I sighed. "Whatever. Fine. I'll make it work. They're not the problem, we brought Silver with us."

He whistled. "Have fun dealing with that one, Carlile."

I rubbed my temples. I was starting to get a headache. "I'm not looking forward to it."

"Hey Aus, something wrong?" Alan asked as he walked in.

"Pierce is opening for you guys."

Alan stopped dead. "Fuck. Um." He scratched his head. "No, no, it's no problem. I, ugh, I'll make it work. Someone had to open for us, yeah?"

I sighed. "This is just gonna suck."

"Something wrong, baby?" Silver asked as she appeared behind Alan, wrapping her arms around his waist.

He sighed and looked at our tour manager, who shook his head. "Nope, I'm not touching this. You brought her, it's your problem," and with that he left.

I looked to Silver. "Honey, you might want to sit."

She quirked an eyebrow but let go of Alan to sit on the couch. "What happened?"

Alan sighed."Look Sil, we just found out who's opening for us, and I don't think you're gonna like it."

"Who?"

"Pierce."

The color immediately drained from her face. "Pierce the Veil?" She swallowed.

Alan rushed to her side, pulling her into a hug. "Don't worry about a thing baby, I'll take care of everything I prom-"

She shoved him away, her eyes frantically scanning the room. Oh God. It was going to be one of those panic attacks. She quickly stood and made a bolt for the door. I grabbed her and pulled her flush against my chest. She shoved and hit and screamed at me while I held her tightly. I hated when she got like this. She just went into panic mode and wanted to walk into traffic. I know because I've seen it happen.

Alan still sat on the couch, scared and confused as all hell. He wasn't really used to this side of Silver. No one was really. Only Hillary and myself, because the three of us have been friends since high school.

"You cock-sucking motherfucker let me go!" She screeched as she pounded on my chest.

Eventually she simply passed out. I gave her to Alan to put in their bunk. When he came back, I noticed he was flushed.

"Somethin' bothering you, bud?"

He looked up at me. "You're shitting me right? This is the second time my girlfriend's had a fucking mental breakdown and both times someone else had to help her!"

I shrugged and got a bottle of water from the fridge. "So what? You're not used to that side of her yet."

"Aaron is used to that side of her," he sneered.

I sighed. "A.P. is not going to steal Silver from you. You should know better than that. Plus, he saw me help her through a breakdown, that's why he knew what to do. Just give it time, Alan."

"I don't have time! She's so damn fucked up and I don't know what to do!" he collapsed on the couch, putting his face in his hands. "I didn't think it would be this hard. I can't do this."

I sat next to him, slinging an arm around his shoulders. "Oh stop it Al, don't talk like that. Everything will turn out ok."

He sighed. "I just don't know anymore, Aus."

Notes

Sorry, it's kinda short! It was going to be longer, but I'm putting the other half in a separate chapter just so that I can get something up. Sorry again, loves! School's winding down so I'll be posting more hopefully. Enjoy! - Anna
