Glass Hearts

Chapter II

She was still smiling to herself but she also had a bigger problem. The hallway split. She just stood there for a second when she heard his voice again. ‘Take the next left, first door on the right,’ he yelled from the other end of the hallway.
‘Thanks!’
She listened to Austin’s directions and soon found herself back in the main hall of the ‘Ally Pally’. Best day at work ever, even if it turned out to be her last.
‘Alex!! What the hell happened?’ It was Mick. He had a smile on his face so hopefully he wasn’t too pissed off.
She walked over to him and explained she got lost. He laughed and said it happens to everyone at least once. He started digging around in his pockets and pulled out a crumpled piece of paper.
‘Take this and this load of papers and call into security. Give it to Martin and tell him I sent you to help out, okay? Oh and Alex? Try not to get lost this time,’ he said with a smile.
She unfolded the crumpled piece of paper as she headed down one of the hallways of the main hall. He gave her a map. At least now she couldn’t get lost, she hoped.
She followed it down to the security office which was on the other side of the building, next to the concert hall. She could hear ‘Bones Exposed’ pounding through the walls and she guessed Of Mice and Men must have been warming up for their show tonight. She kept walking and found the Security office pretty easily. She opened the door and the cute punk girl with all the piercings was sat at the desk nearest to the door.
‘Hey. Is Martin around?’
Not right now. He’s in the concert hall, sorting out some of the railings,’ she said as she flipped her neon blue hair out of her face.
‘Ahh ok. Thanks.’ she said as she left the office. She headed back to the concert hall. She was still completely obsessed with meeting Austin and the thought of seeing him again almost made her cry. She tried to wipe the guilty smile off her face as she opened one of the double doors to the concert hall. The huge hall was empty except for a few security guys, Martin, and, of course, Of Mice and Men. They had just finished their set and Alan and Phil jumped off the edge of the stage and walked over to Martin and the rest of the guys.
Martin looked over at her as she reached the group. She glanced up to the stage, hoping to see Austin but he wasn’t there. Martin pulled me to the side. ‘Alex, if you could do me a huge favor quickly. I need someone to take these keys to the James in the Of Mice and Men’s dressing room. Oh and if you can take these papers as well,’ he said quickly as he shuffled through his pockets and then the folder of papers she brought him.
‘Yeah, sure. No worries,’ she said with a smile. She took the papers and the set of keys and headed down the dark hallway next to the stage towards the light at the end. She heard voices and the sound of drum sticks on a table as she walked past one of the closed doors. According to the map Mick gave her, the dressing room she was looking for 3 doors down, which thankfully it was. The idea of wandering around aimlessly again didn’t sound very fun. After knocking on the thin wooden door, she walked in only to find the chair behind the desk empty. She walked across the room and checked the small office at the end of the room but it was empty as well. ‘No one is ever where they are meant to be in this freaking place’ she thought with her arms folded, trying to figure out what to do.
‘I thought I saw you come in here.’
She jumped as she turned around. Austin was back. His hair was wet and he had a towel wrapped around him. ‘Yea, I have to give some things to Jamie or James or whatever his name is’ she said with a laugh.
He shot me a cheeky smile as he crossed the room, closing the door behind him first. She turned to put the keys and papers on but stopped short. ‘Do you know if this is James’s desk?’
‘Don’t worry about that now’ he said as he came towards her. His perfect body reflected the cheap office lighting perfectly. He took the keys and papers out of her hand and threw them on the desk. She felt his warm breath on her cheeks as he lent down and kissed her gently. Her hands traveled along his back as his traveled down hers.
‘You’re so cute,’ he whispered in her ear as his hands were sliding up her shirt. He gently pushed her back towards the desk and kissed her hard. He pulled away and roughly pulled her t-shirt off and threw it on the floor. His hands worked their way down to the zipper of her jeans as she kicked off her Vans and kicked them off towards her BMTH shirt on the floor. He slid her jeans down as she let his towel fall. She let her hands fall down to his waist. He was huge. She smiled to herself even though they were still kissing. He ran his hands through her bright red hair as he started kissing her neck. She laid back on the desk and took in the sight of him standing over her.

I liked it :) You should make a sequel. Where she goes to the states and runs into him (again).
