Was this all fate , or just a terrible nightmare?

"We need to go to my cousin's house. .. " I mumbled looking at Taylor. . Her eyes widened in fear. She stood up and ran her fingers through her hair and biting her lip nervously. She nodded and we both walked into the bunks and walked up to Ricky's bunk.
"Hey ... we kinda need a favor. " I mumbled and he slipped out his bunk and faced us.
"What's up Alice ??" He questioned brushing his raven black hair out his face and gazing at us with piercing blue eyes. He was wearing a black HIM hoodie and black gym shorts.
"We need your car ... our stuff is still at the hotel.. " I slightly lied but it was mostly true. We did need our stuff but I couldn't just say the real reason.
"Uhrmm .. yea sure just bring it back. " He exclaimed his voice laced with concern as he raised one eyebrow , he searched in his bunk and handed me the keys. Me and Taylor quickly ran out the bus and jumped into Ricky's navy blue Mustang. I screeched off and we pulled off on the open road.
"Why did you lie??" She questioned playing with the sleeves of her crew neck.
I was going about 95 and the cool air conditioning flew past our skin as we raced to my cousin's house.
"I couldn't just say .. hey ricky can we borrow your car to see if my cousin is still alive and check his house for a gun so we can be protected. . ?!" I exclaimed biting my lip nervously while watching the road.
"He's going to kill me .... Isn't he?" She questioned under her breath.
I pulled over on the side of the road and put the car in park and looked at her holding back tears.
"he's not going to fucking touch you . You're my other half Taylor. .. I'd die for you. I'm going to protect us okay?? " I cooed while intertwining our fingers and gave her a soft smile.
She nodded and gave me a tight hug and pulling away. She held up her free hand and stuck out her pinky.
"Promise. ..?" She whimpered out.
"Cross my heart and hope to die " I whispered wrapping our pinkies together.
We both smiled wide and hugged quickly and pulled away.
I drove off and we headed to his house and we made it there in 20 minutes.
We pulled up to the Fairly large Honey brick wooden structured home. It was surrounded by palm trees and little flowers growing out the dirt beside the door. We slowly walked up to the creme colored door and I was about to open it when I saw that the lock had been busted in . I slowly pushed the door open while Taylor was closely behind me holding my hand.
I looked around, the entire place was trashed. . His paintings on the wall had been knocked down. Glass covered the floor and covered the sandy beach carpet.
The creme leather furniture had rips and tears in it . We quietly walked pass the living room and into one of the bedrooms . The door was wide open .. I scanned my surroundings before entering the room . Band posters everywhere and midnight black walls cascaded over the walls .
I hesitantly turned on my phone flashlight and looked around the dark room.
Blood splattered the walls and Taylor gasped. I quickly shushed her and we scanned over the room . I went over beside his bed and reached under his matress , I felt around for his 9mm and soon I felt a cold metal under the springs of the bed.
I reached more and finally pulled out the gun. I slipped it behind the waist band of my skinny jeans behind my back and covered it with my shirt.
I pulled Taylor behind me as we left the room and walked into the bathroom. .. I quietly turned the knob and we both slipped it . What I saw broke my heart.
My cousin slumped beside the tub in a pool of his own blood. .. a huge gash on his neck and his pale skin covered in bruises and cuts and blood. I looked up and saw the writing on the bathroom . Just like the picture. .. suddenly Taylor sprinted out the bathroom and the house .
I followed quickly behind her and I ssw her leaning against the car having a panic attack.
I crouched over her and gripped her shoulders.
"Taylor. .. calm down. .. breath in and out ...." I cooed rubbing circles in her back . She harshly gripped and tangled her fingers in her hair and slumped over and brung her knees to her chest as she sat on the cold cement drive way .
"Fuck ... Alice we NEED to call the police. . " she breathed out staring at me with pleading grey eyes slightly glazed over with tears spilling over her cheeks. I crouched over and sat down in front of her.
"We can't. ... do you know how he said I'd end up like my mother?? What you don't know is that I called the police after he raped me . They searched the house and didn't find the body or any blood so they left . After they left he beat me within a inch of my life and told me that my mother burned just like she is burning in hell.... Taylor ... He's killed before and wasn't caught he will do it again . The police can't help." I mumbled and she looked at me with pleading grey eyes slightly glazed over with tears spilling over.
I felt hot tears steamed down my face and I quickly pulled her up and we both got in the car and drove to the hotel and got our bags and Taylor drove behind me in my car .
When we finally got to the bus I quickly ran to the bunks and gave ricky his keys back. I looked for chris bunk and I found him on his phone shirtless in his bed.
"C-Chris ..." I mumbled and he looked at me and motioned for me to cuddle with him in the bunk. I dropped the gun under the bed and climbed in the bunk. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled us closer . His warm body heat and aroma of axe soothed me as he played with my hair.
"Are you okay??"he questioned looking in my eyes. .
"Wait have you been crying??" He questioned sounding concerned and I nodded. He pulled me on top of his body and wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck and tangled my fingers in his hair and he pressed our lips together and I kissed back .
I laid my head in the crook of his neck and we laid like that for awhile until I heard little snores passing his lips.
"he's not going to touch us... I'll be sure of that" I mumbled before laying my head on his chest and drifting off into sleep.


-Taylor's POV-
I watched Alice run to the bus and I quickly ran to the main stage where Of mice and men I was almost there when I saw Oliver leaning against the fence with his head In his hands. I walked over to him and I heard him crying. .
I walked closer to him and lightly touched his hand. He removed his hands from his face and looked at me. His hazel eyes rimmed red and puffy.
"What's wrong?" I questioned and I locked my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug. He wrapped his arms around my waist and laid his head in the crook of my neck.
"SShe ... S-She dumped me .. " He mumbled I pulled away from him and wiped the tears away from his face.
"Why ...? " I questioned and he looked at me with pleading hazel eyes.
"Apparently I'm to emotional. .. and I don't show her enough attention. .. " he whimpered underneath his breath. I intertwined our fingers and hugged him tightly.
"I'm sorry. . She doesn't deserve you. You're amazing and funny and have a amazing voice and sweet. If she doesn't see that then fuck her . " I exclaimed giving him a soft smile.
He smiled widely and I guided him to the back stage of the main stage so we could watch of mice and men performance. As we watched. Oliver intertwined our fingers and I looked at him and we gave eachother soft smiles.
"Thank you " he whispered in my ear and I nodded. He leaned down and kissed my cheek and I blushed lightly. Finally they got done performing and they all headed backstage. I saw Austin and waved at him but he glared at me as he walked by us.

/ What's with him??" \ I thought internally before frowning. ..
