[Phoenix POV]

After the confession, I went back to California with Alan. I decided to get a loft even though Alan wants me to stay at their house. Everything is looking good between the two of us but I still wanted time for myself. I was busy preparing myself to go to work when I heard a knock on my door.

"Good morning girlfriend!!!" then I felt a hug after opening my door.

"Stop it Austin! Why are you here?" I smiled when I saw him.

"I missed you and I wanted to see you."

I rolled my eyes at him.

"Don't give me that kind of look, girlfriend! I really missed you. It's been a month ago since the last time I saw you. After you went back here with Alan."

I went back to fixing my hair. "Where have you been? We couldn't find you. Even Phil and Tino couldn't find you."

"I was just busy." I saw him smiled.

I glared at him. "Busy with what?!"

He laughed and sat on my couch. "You know, with stuff. The band is on a 2-month break after the tour."

I shook my head. He's lying again. But I was happy when he heard about Alan and I. He was happy for the both of us. Our friendship even grew stronger. I was thankful when he came into my life. He is my best friend. My knight in shining armor. He had been with me all the way. When I was broken and empty. And I'm still hoping, that someday he will also find his own happiness. Someone who's better than me. Someone who can love him back and accept for what he is. And someone who can tame his untamed heart. And next time he falls in love again, I'm wishing for his own happy ending.

Austin drove me to the office. He said that he's going to meet with Jasper.

Alan called me earlier and said he will be out with the rest of the guys.

"Phoenix, Lorie wants to see you." It was Jess.

My eyebrows burrowed. 'She's here?'

I stood up and walked to her office. Alan already told her about us and God! the woman was so happy that she wanted to cut her vacation and go home.

I knocked on her door.

But no answer. I decided to went inside

But what I saw shocked me. There are red rose petals everywhere. It almost flooded the room.

'What's with all of these?'

But instead of feeling romantic, I felt something different. Creepy! I remembered the horror movie I watched last night. All along the girl thought that she was being surprised by her lover but instead, she was killed by a serial killer!

'Fuck!'

I almost jumped in surprise when I heard a music.

'There's so many things that I could say
But I'm sure it would come out all wrong
You got something that I can't explain,
Still try and try and let you know.'

I rolled my eyes and squared my arms. "Alan, what's with all of these?"

Then I saw him came out of the adjacent room with a bouquet of red roses on his hands.

"Do you like it?" He gave me a quick kiss on my lips.

"I don't like flowers, especially red flowers."

"I know! But it looks romantic."

"Romantic?! It feels creepy!" then I cringed.

He laughed and kissed my forehead. "You and your imaginations."

"What the hell are you thinking and even flooding your Mom's office with petals?"

"I want this day to be very romantic and special?"

"You have a guest?"

Alan burst out laughing. "You're really slow Phoenix!" Then he threw the flowers that he's holding and knelt down before me. He took something from his pocket and opened it infront of me.

"Grow old with me Phoebe Nichols."

I gasped when I saw the ring. "A-are you serious?"

"Yes." His eyes filled with love and passion. "I love you. I intend to marry the most annoying woman I've ever met."

It warmed my heart that I was speechless for a moment. He just stared at me while anxiously waiting for my answer.

I smiled. "Yes. I want to grow old with you. And I love you too."

He just smiled sheepishly in return. He stood up and kissed me passionately.

"Finally! I don't know what I'll do with you two if you still won't get married." It was Austin.

I heard a claps from a group of people. Then I saw Austin with smile on his face. I saw Phil, Tino, and Aaron smiling at us. Lorie was there too. Anouk, Jen, and Amanda.

"Hi guys." I smiled at them knowing I am tearing up.

Lorie hugged me. "Take care of each other."

"We will."

"It's time to celebrate!" Austin yelled and backed up by the rest of the guys cheering.

I felt Alan wrapped his hands around my waist and whispered something.

"Let's get married today."

"As in right now?" My eyes went big. "Can we do it tomorrow? Let's celebrate being engaged first with them." Then I looked at our friends looking all happy.

He grinned. "As you wish." Then he kissed me.

I know I will spend my whole life with the man I loved. And no one can set us apart.
