[Phoenix POV]

"Hey Phoenix! You looked pale. Should we send you to the clinic?" It was Jessica. Maybe I really looked pale because she just won't stop.

"I-I'm o-ok." I was stuttering.

"Psh! Liar! You looked like you saw a monster." It was Jed, one of their A&R, with his British accent.

I looked at him. A monster? Maybe. A beautiful monster.

Alan still looked the same. A gorgeous ginger. I can feel my heart skip a beat everytime he smiles. I wanted to cry but I can't let them see me broken.

"Do you know him?" Jed again.

"Huh? O-of c-course. He's our CEO's son. His band is under our label. Of course, I know him..." her voice trailed off.

I heard Jed scoffed. "You're a terrible liar Phoebe!" he said while shaking his head.

Then when I looked at Alan, I saw him looking at me. I still can't contain my feelings so I decided to go outside the room.

I went to the other conference room to get some air. I heard the door opened. I thought it was Jessica who followed me.

"Jess, I told you I'm f--" I turned around and saw HIM.

"Hey!"

"H-hey." Damn Phoenix! Why stutter?!

"How are you?" He asked and he tried to walk towards me but I held my hand up to stop him.

"Stop Alan. Don't do this and pretend like we're ok because we're not. Just, please." I walked past him and went out the door.

I couldn't understand why he's here. To make things even harder? I'm already moving on. I don't want to get hurt anymore. I'm already tired.

I realized that I walked into our assistance manager's office. 'Damn!' I was about to go out when I heard a girl moaning from the other room.

"Damn! That was great!" I heard the girl said.

And I couldn't be wrong. It's --

Then the door opened.

"S-Sam?"

I saw how her eyes went big when she saw me. She was still fixing her dress.

"P-phoenix? W-why are you here?"

"Ahm, I entered the wrong room. I was preoccupied with the meeting earlier and I thought this was David's office..." my voice trailed off.

'Wait! If she's here and Alan is here, are they together again? But what the fuck! Sam is cheating on him!

"Have you seen Alan?" I heard her asked.

I nodded. "Yeah, he was introduced in the meeting earlier. I s-should go." then I turned my back.

"Wait, Phoenix!" Sam called. "I hope this stays between us."

I just nodded and went out.

Hello guys! I'm sorry if it's short. Anyway, I plan on finishing the story after 2 chapters. I don't want you guys to get bored so I wanted to start another story. Please don't hate me for suddenly doing this. I feel like the story is going downhill and I don't want that.
