Forgive Me- Part 2

Who Wins?

Oli's POV

Honestly I had no idea what to say to her comment. How can you say anything against it? Yea I don't agree with it but I can’t think of anything to say in response. Luckily I was saved having to answer because Jaime soon walked over. Amelia kisses his cheek as he sits with us and he smiles at her.

“We’ve got to head off soon” he says to us and I nod, I wasn't expecting to be here much longer anyway.

“I’m going to head upstairs then and grab my bag and anything I might need” Amelia says to him before turning and smiling at me “It was nice to meet you”

“Likewise, I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone as good at debating as you” I grin

“Thanks” she chuckled “We should definitely do it again”

“Agreed.” I say. She stands and hugs Jaime quickly before leaving. He watches her leave and I can't help but smile, it's so easy to see how much he cares about her. It's plainly written on his face...

"You've got a good girl there Himes, she's sweet"

"Yea, I was a little worried about her meeting everyone though, I thought it would be a little overwhelming."

"How come?"

"She's not so good around people, and those people being some of her favourite bands... Well I wasn't sure if she could handle it"

"She's a fan?" She really didn't act like it, she was so chilled.

"Yea, huge. I'll always be surprised that she's a fan of you guys though." He says and I look at him confused

"She's catholic, and your music, well... I think you understand"

"She's catholic?" My voice almost breaks. No wonder she was so passionate. Shit! Why didn't I think of that?! Oh god, she probably thinks I'm a douche.

"Yea, not many people know because she doesn't preach it but yea"

"Guys we've got to head off" Kevin, Pierce the Veils tour manager called from the entrance.

"Shit, Milly's not back yet..." Jaime mumbled.

"You head on down, I'll wait for her, I want to talk to her anyway" I said to him

"You sure?" He looked worried and I don't think it was about me.

"I'll take care of her man, you head down" he reluctantly nods before heading out with the rest of the PTV guys. I head over to Matt and let him know that I’m staying behind. He nods and gets me the keys to the rental so I can take both Amelia and I over to the venue when she gets back. I sit back in the couch and wait for her to come back. I can't believe I said all of that to her; I was so inconsiderate, I didn't think for a second about whether or not she was religious... I liked her too, she was a nice girl and I actually enjoyed debating with her but she'll probably never speak to me again. I wouldn't...

After a few minutes I hear someone walk into the room; I look up and I see Amelia standing in the entrance looking around the room worried; she probably doesn’t want to be here alone with me, hell, she probably never wants to see me again.

“What’s up? Where is everyone?” She asked, her voice wavering slightly.

“Milly, I am so sorry” I say, not being able to lift my voice over a whisper.

"For?" She looked confused.

"For being and inconsiderate bastard; I had no idea you were catholic, I shouldn't have said that shit about your beliefs..."

"You just said what you believed didn't you?"

"Well yea...?"

"Then what's the problem? You shouldn't be sorry for saying what you believe. No one believes exactly the same thing so what is the point in getting angry about different opinions?" She says with a shrug. Does she really not care at all?

"How are you not pissed at me right now? Any normal person would have torn me a new one by now"

"Actually I enjoyed our little argument, very mentally stimulating"

"Yea 'twas a good one, I don't think I've had someone keep up that well with me before" I wasn’t able to hold back chuckle. It was more out of relief than anything, I didn’t like the idea of Amelia hating me and she seemed completely fine about or previous discussion.

"You should get used to it, arguing is my specialty" she smiles. "So you never said where everyone was"

"Oh, they had to head down, I told Jaime to go and stayed back to apologise."

"So how're we getting there?"

"We have a rental; the guys took the bus"

"Oh okay."

I direct her to the car and start to drive us to the venue. She was lost in thought for most of the drive and I couldn't help but smile at the peaceful look on her face as she stared at the passing buildings.

"You never responded..." She said suddenly.

"What?" I asked unsure of what she was talking about.

"About my view on the suicide... You never responded."

I stare straight ahead, unsure of what to say before I finally give in and just say the truth.

"There was nothing to say really. No I don't agree with making people so scared they force themselves to live, but I guess in a way you're right. It gives them the chance to find something better..."

I glance at her and she nods with a smug smile on her face. She won and she knew it, but I'll get her next time, I know it.

Notes

Sorry it took so long to update!!! I was stuck in the middle of nowhere without a computer! I am also sorry about the length of the chapter but I find it difficult writing from anyone excluding Jaime or Amelias POV...
