My hero

Laney looked at him in disbelief. It was Austin Carlile who had just saved her from being raped.

"Are you alright? It looked like he pulled you pretty roughly." Austin said to her.

Austin had just been walked through the mall to his car when he heard a girl scream. He looked around and saw a girl being dragged on into an alley. He ran over and pulled the fucker off of the girl. When he looked at her he was stunned at how beautiful she was. Black hair, and piercing blue eyes. She was perfect.

"I'm.... Um, I'm Laney." She said, holding out her arm to shake his hand.

but when she did that, she remembered the fresh cuts on her wrist, but before she could pull her arm back, Austin had saw.

"Laney, did you do this?" He asked softly.

"Um.... Yea, I mean no. I have a cat and she scratches me." Laney said.

But Austin didn't fall for it,

"I dont know about that, these look pretty deep for a cat." He said, shaking his head. "Here, you can come over to my place and I can clean these cuts up and we can talk." He said.

"Oh, but I have work in 3 minutes!" Laney said. She could'nt loose this job. She had to keep it so she could save up enough money to move out of her parents house.

"Oh.... Well where do you work?" Austin asked her.

"At the Hot Topic here." She replied.

"Sweet! I can surprise fans and I'll do a meet and greet! Then, when your shift is over I can take you to my place." Austin said, beaming.

"Oh... Really?" Laney said.

"Ya! I love meeting fans! Let's go!"

Laney and Austin walked Beside eachother through the mall and into hot topic. Laney took her position behind the till, and Austin stood at the entrance greeting fans. Every few minutes, Laney noticed Austin would glance back at her, and then turn back. She was nervous for going over to his house. She was an awkward person and what if Austin hated who she was? There was only one way to find out.


~~6 hours later~~



"Alright Austin, it's closing time,." Laney said.

"Ah, that was great! Let's head over to my place!" Austin said.

As Laney walked out to his car, and they started driving, she could'nt wipe the smile off her face. It felt like a dream.
