I was all for you

All 4 of them stumbled out of Alex's room as all the nurses and doctors came rushing in to get rid of Alex's body. It was almost as If Kyler was aware that his mommy had died because as soon as Alex closed her sweet precious eyes, he started crying. Alan came out holding Kyler and he turned to Austin.

"Austin, take Beth home. She's going to need awhile." Alan said, emotionlessly

"Alan! But what about you?" Austin asked, with concern on his face

"It'll be fine. I just think I'm not going to record this week. I'm sorry." Alan said.

Austin out his hand on Alan's shoulder. "Alan, this was your girlfrie- I mean wife. I would be crushed, I would be broken if I lost Beth. Take as long as you need. Call if you want us to take care of this little guy." Austin said, rubbing kylers hair.

"Thanks Austin. I'm going to go home now" Alan said, carrying Kyler out.

Alan strapped his son into his car seat in the back and sat down in the front seat. Before he could start driving, he broke down. He slammed his fist into the steering wheel causing the car to honk, and it made Kyler start crying again.

"FUCK!! ALEX WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!?" Alan screamed

He sobbed into his hands and layed his head down on the steering wheel, but kylers cries had to be stopped. Alan opened the glovebox and when he reached in to get a soother, he found a folded up piece of paper. Out of curiosity, he opened it. He recognized the neat handwriting immediatley. Alex had wrote it. It said:

Dear Alan,

I know this will be hard for you, and trust me, it was hard for me too. Knowing that our time would be so limited, but I need you to know that I'm happy. Wherever I am now, I'm happy. I'm not suffering anymore. I'll be looking down on you and my sweet baby Kyler all the time. I know you'll miss me, and somehow manage to blame yourself, but honey, it's not your fault. It's nobody's. The world we live in is a tragic one, but it's okay because whatever happens next is beautiful. I can feel it. I want you to know that it's okay if you fall in love again. Don't hold yourself back because of fear of making me sad. I'll be happy! I'll know that you'll have someone taking care of you and Kyler, probably better than I ever did. Except, make sure Kyler knows I'm his mommy. Tell him, when he's old enough that I wanted to be with him for his whole life. I wanted to see him graduate and get married, but that won't happen. Tell him I love him everyday. And you, Alan, you are the best thing in my life. Without you I would still be at home, just getting by, not really living. People who live 50 years won't know the love we had. I know there were some ups and downs, but I love you more than anyone. And don't think I didn't see some of those faded scars on your skin. I'm assuming it was while we were broken up. But please don't let those evil thoughts come back and haunt you. You are my love. Don't ever forget that. I love you, everyday, every hour, every minute. Every breathe I take, every blink, I love you. Please live your life fully. Don't hold back. I'll be with you always.
