I was all for you

Austin had just came out of the motel. Him and the blonde girl fucked for awhile, but then she left him because he wasn't 'into it.' She was right though, Austin wasn't into it because all he could think about was Beth. Even though he was drunk he could'nt get her out of his mind. He walked out of the motel and started walking through the dark park. He was approaching a bridge and saw someone slowly swaying as if she was going to fall into the river beneath her. Austin didn't know who it was until he had already jumped in the water to grab them. It was Beth. Austin wrapped his arms around Beth's torso and swam up to the banks of the river. When he pulled her up, he saw 4 huge gashes in her wrist that wouldn't stop bleeding.

"Oh god Beth. Beth no. Please don't go." Austin sobbed. "Beth you can't do this again! I can't almost loose you!" Austin said.
When he saw that she wasn't waking up, he picked her up and started running her to the nearest hospital. As he ran, he wondered about what caused Beth to do this. Was it something he did? Was it something he said? If Beth died he wouldn't be able to love with himself. Even though they hadn't talked in awhile, Austin still cared for her so much. He had been seeing her, so that was enough to get him throuhg the day. Andy was right, it was Austin who screwed stuff up. It wasn't Beth's fault in the slightest. When Austin heard sirens, he snapped out of thinking and realized he had made it to the hospital. He ran in carrying Beth. Her wrists were still bleeding.

"Somebody please help me! Please!" Austin yelled as he ran into the hospital.
4 doctors approached him.

"Sir let me take her. We need to get her wrists stitched. Lay her on the stretcher." One of the men said.

"O-okay but please. Please let her stay. I can't loose her!" Austin sobbed as he buried his face in his hands. A female nurse came up to Austin to ask him what had happened.

"I was.... I was just walking in the park and I saw her fall, so I jumped in the water to get her but.... Oh god.... I saw her wrists." Austin could'nt say anymore. The nurse put a hand on his shoulder in attempts to comfort him.

"Is she your girlfriend?" She asked. Austin shook his head.

"Your wife?" Austin shook his head again, but this time he spoke. "I love her.... But I fucked stuff up and now.... Now she hates me."

"I'm sure she doesn't. You saved her life. She surely won't hate you now." The nurse said as she got up and walked away. Austin stayed and waited in the waiting room for 2 hours until finally a doctor came and got him.

"Mr... Carlile?" The doctor called out.

"Yes?"

"Beth is awake. She asked for you. Let me lead you to her room." The doctor said. Austin followed him. Why would Beth have asked for him? She hated him. He went into the room and saw Beth laying there, silently staring at the wall ahead of her. She turned her head and saw Austin standing there. She burst Into tears.

"Austin! I'm so sorry! Austin! I love you."
