Product of a Murderer

When we got back home from Alan's practice we ordered Chinese and I went to take a shower. 15 minutes later and I found myself sitting in the bathtub, the water from the shower head pounding on my head and shoulders. I can't do this. I can't handle the stress of everything that's going on. What if Jeremy does something horrible, I know he's capable of doing some really awful things. What have I gotten Alan into? Maybe I should leave him... Pack my bags and get out of his life forever. Yes, that is what I need to do. I'll leave tonight as soon as I get out of the shower. I got out, putting on my clothes from earlier and headed back to our room grabbing all my things shoving them into my suitcase. "Alan," He looked up from the tv, he was watching Monsters Inc. one of our favorites.

"Ana, what's going on?" He stood up quickly taking in my leather jacket and the suitcase by my feet. I saw all these painful emotion flash over and twist his face off. I wish I didn't have to do this. I hate seeing him hurt. I never thought I'd be the reason for him to hurt.

"I'm leaving. Now. It's not you, It's me. I can't be with you anymore, I'm not happy with you." I turned at that and headed for the door, a cab already waiting for me downstairs. I risked a look back and saw him crying, watching me go,

"I love you Ana. I'm so sorry I couldn't be enough for you..." As I shut the door I saw him drop to the floor tears, hitting the floor as if his eyes were clouds and there was a thunderstorm happening inside of him.

I didn't let myself cry until I was in the cab, that's when I let it all out. My chest was heaving, too many tears to keep track of. I could feel the tears getting through my shirt, making my chest feel wet. I kept telling myself that everything was going to be okay, that Alan would understand one day. I hope he'll understand

ALAN'S POV

After band practice and a surprise visit from Ana we came home and ordered Chinese food. While Ana was in the shower I decided to watch Monsters Inc., we watched it on our first date, the only one we could agree on because our movie tastes are complete polar opposites. I heard the shower turn off and listened as her feet made their way back to our room. Every time she goes back there I cross my fingers that she doesn't find the ring. I know I want to marry her. She's my world my everything. I've known that I was going to marry her since the first day we met. I just need to wait for the right moment. Maybe tonight while we watch Monsters Inc. and eat Chinese food. No, that wouldn't be nice enough, I will find the perfect moment. "Alan," Ana's voice shook me out of my thoughts of a proposal. She had on her clothes from earlier,

"Ana, what's going on?" As I stood up I saw the suitcase by her feet. No, no, no this can't be happening. The love of my life is leaving me.

"I'm leaving. Now. It's not you, It's me. I can't be with you anymore, I'm not happy with you." She said this all quickly then turned to leave. I could feel the tears starting to flow from my eyes. Before she left she looked back at me,

"I love you Ana. I'm so sorry I couldn't be enough for you..." After I said that she left and I dropped to the ground, not knowing what to do now that she's gone. Her words were on a loop in my head. I wasn't enough to make her happy.
