"Not So Cheap" Cheap Dinner

We finally made it to the restaurant, and just let me say, it was huge. Austin, Phil, Tino, and myself all came in the limo, while Alan and Aaron came in Aaron's car. "Are you sure this is the restaurant and not like, the President's second home?" Austin laughed and nodded his head. "It's my favorite." Aaron chimed in, smiling brightly as he waked into the building. I nodded, and followed after him. I only really knew their names, like Phil, Austin, Aaron, Alan, and Tino. Not what they did. I sighed looking down at my phone as I messaged Lucy, asking her for help while we ate. We all crowded around the table, and I sat on the opposite side to them, wanting to make sure none of them saw my phone as I talked to Lucy. "So, Lucy, how long have you been a fan?" I narrowed my eyes slightly when Austin called me Lucy, but I let it go, knowing he didn't understand who I was. "Uh, since ever?" That was all that came to my mind. "I'd hope so." "Have you ever been to any concerts? I think I've seen you before." I look over at Aaron. How could you even remember my face, with all the other screaming fans to gaze at? "Of course I have. And well, I think I've seen you before too." They laughed, and I smiled, turning away as I looked down at my phone. I had already asked Lucy what her favorite song was, and I felt like the question was coming up soon. "Favorite song?" Bingo. I look down at my phone. "When you can't sleep at night." Personally, that was their only song I've heard, and it was the only song Lucy played 24/7. "Can I get your orders?" A pretty little lady came over to our table, and I could tell Austin was eyeing her. Ah, the ladies man. I rolled my eyes, and Aaron must have saw me, and chuckled. I blushed of embarrassment, and turned away. "Uh, a salad will work for me." "We have money to waste, Lucy." "Well, a cheap salad will work for me." Austin looked at me, and tilted his head. I narrowed my eyes, but then quickly remembered how I was supposed to act, and smiled back at him. "Well, I could have some chicken.." I shrugged, and the lady nodded, walking off with our orders. We talked a bit more about their music before she and a few others came out with our plates. "Aaron, what the hell is that?" I gasped, seeing the weird creature looking thing on his plate. "Are you sure it's not dead yet?" "Haha, It's squid." "Who eats squid?!" "I do.." Aaron said shyly, and I blinked, feeling like I had offended him. I sighed, and turned away, looking down at my chicken. "Holy shit, that's huge!" I coughed, seeing the giant piece of chicken. "Thatswhatshesaid." I growled slightly at Austin who laughed as it quickly said it. "How mature." Austin was clearly getting on my nerves, but I had to stay in character. I giggled after I said, and rolled my eyes when they looked away. Someone stood on the stage, talking about how he was on a date with his girlfriend. I gasped suddenly. "Ah shit! That's Joel!" I looked around, the boys hearing me. I buried my head into my arms, listening to what he said. "Lenna, we have been together for four years exactly, as this is our anniversary dinner, and well, I just.. Lenna, I love you, so much. Please, marry me." He got down on one knee and held up the ring and Lenna walked over to the stage. You could hear that she was crying. "Yes.. yes.." She sniffled out, hugging onto him as everyone started to clap. "So, you knew him?" "Friend from highschool. Him and Lenna were together during our senior year together." I nodded, brushing my hair behind my ear. "Yeah, I'm done, can we leave?" They looked at each other, the only two who were done were myself and Aaron. "Yeah, sure, we can go." Aaron nodded, standing up. I suddenly felt was I was noticed. I saw Joel's teary eyes lock with mine, and I shook my head. "Anna?" Shit shit shit shit. I grabbed Aaron's hand and quickly pulled him away. "Lucy, what's with the rush?" He laughed, leaving the table with me. "Anna! It's me, Joel!" He sniffled as he said my name. Oh God, please stop! We stopped at the door when Joel ran up next to me. "Sorry, wrong person.." I whispered, leaving the building. "Wait, didn't you say that you knew him?" I nodded, and hurried over to the car that Aaron drove in. "Anna, come on." Joel stood next to me this time, and I turned around. "Oh, Joel! I saw you and Lenna. Congrats." I smiled, hugging onto him. I saw Aaron look at Joel, slightly confused. Joel and I reminisced for a bit, before Lenna called for him to come back in. Aaron didn't say anything to me while we drove, and I knew that he was either mad or very confused.

We stopped at the hotel and when I went to leave, Aaron grabbed my hand as I went to unhook my seatbelt. "So, is Anna like, a middle name?" "No.. it's my first name." Aaron blinked, and shook his head. "Is Lucy your middle name then?" I took in a breath, and closed my eyes. I reopened them, looking back at Aaron. "Lucy is my friend's name. I'm Anna Rutherford." I said, Aaron just shook his head. "Why lie?" I took in another breath. "Can we talk about this inside?" He nodded, and I looked down at my hand. "You kinda have to.. let go.." He blinked, as if he didn't know that he held my hand, and let go of it. "Sorry." He whispered, and we both got out of the car. I saw him eyeing in, and I just shook my head, walking back into the hotel, Aaron slowly traveling behind me.
