Anna Rutherford and her best friend Lucy Right have been friends for years. So when Lucy asks Anna to join in a contest to see Of Mice and Men and be able to go backstage with them, Anna joins, even though she doesn't listen to the band. To her surprise, she wins the contest. But before Anna and Lucy can switch places, Anna to picked up and sent to a hotel where the band are staying, thinking that Anna is a fan to the band.
