I woke up to the sound of Alec crying and someone humming. I gasped and sat straight up and found myself… in bed. Under my duvet and only in my panties. I stared at myself and wondered what had happened. How come I was in bed? then I heard the humming again and I got really scared. Who the fuck was with Alec? I wrapped the duvet around myself and hurried up from the bed, but fell on my own feet and landed on my face. I let out a loud groan and cry, and to my surprise Austin popped his head out from the nursery. He looked both scared at surprised.
"Austin?" I said.
"And what are you doing?" he asked.
"What am I doing? What are you doing?” I asked back.
"Our tour was cancelled… Fans freaked out and started a big mob and shit, and everything went chaotic… This time even I was scared but I’m glad it did happen because I walked inside, found Alec crying and you passed out in the fridge with a really high fever" he said and stared at me.
"So I did pass out?" I asked.
"You salmon sallad tasted really good though" he said with a grin. I slowly got up on my feet and tiptoed over to him. Alec was now quite and he slept in Austin’s arms.
"I think I got whatever Alec had" I said.
"No he just have a fever and a cold, you have an infection in your lower abdomen, the scar was not healing as it should since you couldn’t stay still… So I was told to look after you, and if the infection didn’t calm down in the next few days they would take you in again" he said and looked at me. I unwrapped the duvet and looked at myself. My scar was all red and warm. I swallowed and wrapped the blanket around me.
"It wasn’t red yesterday" I mumbled.
"Back to bed" he said and pointed towards out bedroom. I walked over to the bed and laid myself down again with a sigh. It felt good just lying there and it was actually pretty calming to hear Austin humming for Alec, because it made me sleepy as well.

I woke up when Austin slowly sat up in his bed, he looked at me and smiled.
"Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you up" he said. I shivered a little and felt that something was wrong. I saw up and knew exactly what was going on.
"What is it?" Austin asked and I slowly moved the duvet from me. Austin stared at my bloody thighs.
"Shit" he said and threw himself at his phone and called for an ambulance.

Austin’s POV

I was sitting in a waiting room, with Alec, and just staring into air. It felt so weird. I had been here just a few weeks ago, on exactly the same spot. After she had woken up, covered in her own blood and… Fuck. Tino came running into the waiting room and he stared at me and Alec.
"What happened?" he asked.
"I don’t know, they took her up for surgery as soon as she got here" I said and closed my eyes.
"Why?" Tino asked and sat down beside me.
"She woke up and her thighs was covered in blood, coming from her body… probably because of the infection" I said.
"Infection?" Tino asked and stared at me.
"Her wound wouldn’t heal up as it should, so she got an infection" I said. Tino just stared at me and we sat there for a few hours.
"Mr Carlile, you can come with me" a nurse finally said and both me and Tino jolted up. We followed her into a room where Mairin was lying. She had a nose grim giving her oxygen and she looked pale.
"So what happened?" I asked and looked at the doctor examining Rin.
"It seems that the uterus decided to get rid of the last blood that caused the infection, and it became like a miscarriage, but without the fetus loss" the doctor explained.
"That makes no sense at all" Tino said.
"We have done everything we can right now, but she got to have to stay for a few weeks before she can go back home" he said.
"Have her stay months if that makes her better" I said and sighed in relief. If she stayed at the hospital she would be better. She would make it. The doctor chuckled a little and left us alone. Rin was still sedated but she would wake up in a few minutes. I just stared at her.
"Fuck I got so scared" I said and sat down on one of the chairs in the room.
"I got scared when you called me" Tino said and nodded.

I felt a small pain in my lower abdomen. Then I shot my eyes open and stared up in the ceiling. What the fuck had happened?
"Hey babe" Austin said and his face appeared before my eyes.
"Hey" I said and stared at him.
"They had to operate on you again, but they said you will be fine after this. After a few weeks in bed here at the hospital" he said.
"Fuck… I hate being here" I muttered. He chuckled and kissed my forehead. Then I saw Tino holding Alec.
"Tino?" I asked.
"Hello cousin, did you know you have the cutest little son?" he said with a huge grin. He looked so happy and Alec was sleeping.
"Wait until you’re sleeping and he wakes up three in the morning because he’s hungry" I said and yawned a little. I turned to Austin again and he stroked my hair back.
"You really scared me there" he said.
"I really scared myself" I said and kissed his fingers.
"Now I’m really glad the tour was cancelled" he said and sighed in relief.
"I wondered what would have happened if it wasn’t… would you have… died then?" Tino said and looked at me. Both Austin and I looked at him.
"Probably… I guess" I said and shivered. Austin looked pale and he was in a completely different world. THinking about the worst things. I punched him on the arm and he looked at me.
"I’m here, don’t you think about what could have happened" I said.
"But you’re supposed to be…" he started but I punched him again.
"I’m not dead, I’m right here. Okay?" I said, all serious. He sighed and nodded. I was right and he was wrong.
"You two would make it perfect after the wedding, Austin would do anything for you and you just have to punch him if he thinks something different form you" Tino teased.
"Watch it, I would punch you too if it wasn’t for the fact that you have Alec in your arms" I said and looked at him. He chuckled and Austin chuckled as well, kissing my temple.
"Calm down, he’s just teasing" Austin said.
"You’re going to have your hands full with that one" Tino continued and grinned at me. I glared at him and I swear I would have thrown something at him if it wasn’t for Alec. Who then made a sound. We all looked at him.
"Well since you’re the one having him you’re the one that get’s t change diapers" I said and grinned back. That sound was Alec pooptime sound. As I called it and Tino looked confused. Then he the scent caught his nose and he frowned.
"You had him last" Austin said with a grin.
"Fine, I’ll do it" Tino muttered and headed for the bathroom. I laughed and Austin kissed my temple once again.
"I love you, you know that?" he said. I turned my head and looked at him. Then I smiled and I leaned my head against him.
"I love you too" I said
