Austin’s POV

I was in the middle of a meet and greet, trying to keep my smile up but I was actually a bit worried. Earlier today I had gotten to know that Alec had a fever. And yeah… It freaked me out.
"Hi" I said to the next person that came up.
"Hi, I’m Rachel" she said and we began a small conversation.
“Hello Rachel” I said and smiled. “Is it true you have a girlfriend?” She asked, a suddenly all looked at me. I smiled and held up my hand with my ring.
“I am engaged and I have a little baby son actually” i said. Girls screamed, some cried and some wanted to see him. It went so chaotic that security had to lead us back to our dressing rooms.
“Shit, that got intense” Phil said.
“So she said yes?” Alan asked. I shook my head and Alan looked confused.
“She said no at first, but when I explained that it wasn’t just Alec that made me do it… Then she said yes” I said.
"Congratulations I guess" Alan said.
"Now let’s go and have one fucking great show" Tino said.

I picked Alec up because he wouldn’t stop crying. He calmed down a little when he felt that he was close and could take a grip on my clothes, but it didn’t take long before he cried again. It was his fever. It was getting intense and I was getting scared. What do I do? What was wrong? Then I got the brilliant idea to give him a cold bath, and I jumped in with him. It was not that nice and I was freezing but Alec stopped crying and he calmed down. Soon you could see a smile on his lips. When I was shaking because I was freezing so to much I decided that it was time to get up. I dried my body and Alec’s, and then I walked out to our bedroom. I gently laid him down and he fell asleep just a few minutes later. I sighed in relief and took a deep breath, and I laid myself down beside him.

I woke up to Alec crying again, this time because he was hungry and I let out a sigh. It was not as much fun as I hoped this would be, but I think it would be easier if it wasn’t for me freezing and feeling down. I got up and I fed him before he fell asleep again. I swallowed and I felt so tired. Not only because it had been hours since I got sleep, but I felt just tired. My whole body was numb and I was sweating a little. Maybe I had caught whatever Alec had. Was it a cold? Was it the flu?

I was down in the kitchen and Alec was lying out in the living room, sleeping. I was preparing something to eat, something easy. Salmon with some sunflower seeds, olive oil and garlic. I took a deep breath and picked up my bowl with food and headed for the living room. Alec was still sleeping and… fuck I forgot my drink. I walked back out to the kitchen when I suddenly felt my head get light. I quickly stopped and waited to see if anything would happen. Nothing did so I walked up to the fridge and everything got black.
