Austin was due to leave tomorrow for a tour again, and I had settled down pretty nice in the new house. He packed his bagged and he promised he would call every day, even if he just had a few minutes to do so. And if anything happened I should call him, Tino or their tour manager. I even got an emergency number for the big emergencies. I sighed a little but felt glad that he really did care.
"Tonight we’re going to have a nice dinner made by me, okay?" he said, and gave me a serious look. I looked at him.
"Sure" I said and got curious. What was he up to now?

Alec was sleeping and Austin was in the kitchen. I could hear him mutter from time to time, and sometimes he even sang for himself. I smiled and peeked in the kitchen.
"i’m getting hungry" I said and he looked over the shoulder with a grin.
"in a moment" he said and started to pour up food on plates. Then he placed it on the kitchen table, where he had lit candles and had some wine waiting. I just looked at him.
"Wow" I said and sat down by the table. He smiled and sat down himself.
"Bon appetite" he said and chuckled a little.

I was in the middle of taking one big bite when Austin looked at me. He leaned his chin against his hands and smiled.
"What?" I asked and looked at him, with my mouth full.
"I’m gonna ask you a question, and I want you… Well fuck it, I’m just gonna ask it" he said and looked at me. I looked at him.
"What?" I asked again, and swallowed.
"Mairin Reed… I know we only known each other for a short while but… fuck this… Do you wanna marry me?" he asked. I stared at him.
"fuck this, do you wanna marry me?" I asked, a bit surprised.
"Do you wanna marry me?" he asked again.
"No, Austin… I don’t" I said and he looked surprised.
"why not?" he asked.
"I don’t want you to marry me just because we suddenly got a kid together" I said and got a bit nervous. He looked… shocked.
"I’m not marrying you because we have a kid together. I want to marry you because when I almost lost you for a third time I knew that I wanted you to be mine, and mine alone" he said, and sounded hurt.
"then yes, yes I would like to marry you" I said. He looked at me. He got a small smile on his lips and pulled out a velvet box. He placed it before me and I opened it. My mouth dropped because the ring was absolutely amazing. Silver with a rose quartz.
"Rose quartz?" I asked.
"Rose quartz is said to be good for healing and for love, it’s the love stone" he said, and got a warm smile. I looked at him and then I put the ring on my finger. It fit just perfectly.
"wow" I said and just stared at it.
"Do you like it?" he asked.
"I love it" I whispered.

I woke up to Austin pulling me closer, wrapping his big arms around me and giving me a tight hug.
"You’re crushing me" I said with a giggle, and I felt his smile on my neck.
"I was just about to go actually, so I wanted to give you one last hug" he said.
"No kiss then?" I asked, just teasing him. He chuckled and turned me around and gave me a small peck on the lips.
"That’s not a kiss, this is a kiss" I said and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him for real. He chuckled and moved me so I was sitting on top of him. He hugged me again and I could feel the love pouring out from every pore on his body. I giggled again and kissed him, and he looked into my eyes.
"I love you" he said and sat up. I was sitting in his lap, still with my arms around his neck. He was fully dressed and I was only in a big tee and panties.
"And I love you too, promise to call me everyday" I said.
"I promise, but only if you promise to send at least one picture a day of Alec" he teased and kissed my nose. I laughed a little.
"I can send you pictures, and tell you all the things we’ve been doing without you" I said and smiled.
"That sounds pretty good to me" he said and smiled.
