I had Alec on a small mattress, on the floor by the door, preparing breakfast for me and Austin. Austin was sleeping and I could understand him. Late band rehearsals and soon a tour, and he wanted to fix everything before he went. Like a house… Like a nursery. He didn’t care when I said I could do it. He just… “You sit down” or “go and rest Rin”. So I decided to go up early and make breakfast for him.

Austin came down and he picked Alec up. Looking at me and then he smiled.
“You should be…” He began but I held up my hand.
“Don’t you dare say it” I snapped and glared at him. He chuckled and kissed my cheek. Then he turned his attention to Alec instead.
“Mommy is in a bad mood today, let us flee” he said with a playful tone and left the kitchen. I couldn’t help but to laugh a little.

I walked with the plates to the living room and placed one before Austin. He looked at me and then he grinned. He kissed me quickly before he started to dig in. Alec started to cry and I sighed. He was probably hungry. Again. I picked him up and walked upstairs. I fed him, changed his diaper and then put him down in his own bed. He fell asleep immediately, and I walked back down to Austin. Who was lying on the couch and watching tv. I sat down on his legs and he parted them so I ended up between them. I reached for my plate and felt some pain in my stomach. My wound was not completely healed. Austin jolted up, gave me my plate and looked at me with worried eyes. I took the plate and smiled.
“It’s okay” i said and he slowly laid down again, but kept on looking at me.
“Austin, I mean it” I snapped.
“What? I’m just checking out your boobs” he said and poked them. We both knew he lied but I let it go. I shook my head and he grinned a little.

One day Austin came home and he let out a sigh when he closed the door. I walked out to the hall and I looked at him.
“I got us a house” he said and smiled. He looked tired and stressed.
“A house?” I asked. Austin held up keys and smiled.
“Pack your bags, pack Alec or something and… We’re going there now” he said.

He drove for some time before he stopped, and he looked at me.
"Are you ready?" he asked, and I nodded. He started to go up the hill and soon he stopped outside a house that made me just stare. My mouth dropped and… it was beautiful.
"you like it?" he asked.
"wow" I said and just stared.

He smiled and looked at it himself. There was a pool. The house was grey and had big windows. A nice garden.
"Is this… ours?" I asked and looked at him.
"I know you hate me for pushing you to rest all the time, but… here I think you can relax and… I was going to ask if you wanted to decorate and do all the rooms" he said and glanced at me.
"So the house is empty?" I asked.
"There is a bed for us, one for Alec and some stuff in the kitchen but other than that… Nothing. I thought you might want to put your touch over it" he said. I stared at the house and then I bit my lip in excitement.
"I love you" I said and looked at him.
"And I love you" he said with a smile and pecked my cheek.
Alec ruined the moment though when he started to cry.
"Not again" I sighed and looked at him. You could see it… He was hungry.
"I think he’s got your appetite" Austin teased and poked me in the side again. I laughed and gave him a playful glare.
"Watch it, I still have hormones in my body" I said and poked back. Austin laughed and got out from the car, and I picked up Alec. He was not hungry but someone just craved a little bit of attention.
