The album was release and it got really good critics and response. So did El Reys album and when tickets for our short little tour was out people started to buy them. A few of the shows was actually sold out. To all our surprises. But I guess it was thanks to Austin that wrote out that people should support me. We weren’t fan official. Just Of Mice and Men and my parents knew about us. And we wanted it that way.

What if people thought I used Austin for fame, now that I had an album out? So no. His fans would not get to know. Not yet. I didn’t want the hate, and he didn’t want them to well… hate me. And give me hate.

Our label rented a big blue bus for us. Just a simple bus that anyone could hire, with a few bunks for us, or techs and our managers. And I was so happy that Alex would join us because I happened to be the only girl on this bus. No one brought their girlfriends. I could understand that. Their first tour. Of course they wanted to focus on being on the tour.
"You ready?" Alex asked when he saw that I stared at the big blue bus. I had been on a tourbus before. But that was made specially for Of Mice and Men. That one had luxury and nice bunks. This was just a dirty bus and most of the bunks smelled… weird.
"It’s better than having to sleep in a van, and there are no cockroaches" Ian teased when he saw my frowned face.
"but it smells" I whined and he laughed.

Our first stop was Seattle. I was really nervous and you could tell that the others was nervous as well. They had played live before and they had toured before… But this was completely different. This was their first tour while signed and with a new album, their first, released.
“Fuck… Im nervous” Ian muttered.
“You have at least been on stage before and toured” I said and looked at him. He looked at me.
“You haven’t?” He asked and I shook my head. He looked surprised.
“I thought… Never mind… I don’t even know what I thought. Guess you shouldn’t take things for granted” he shrugged. I looked at him and then I smiled.
“Since my accident I know for sure that you shouldn’t take things for granted” I said and laughed a little. Ian looked at me and then he nodded. He understood exactly what I meant.

Austin asked me to call him immediately after my first show and I could at least do that. And when I went up on stage I felt so nervous. But it became alright when I began and people seemed to like me. When I finished though I hurried over to the bathroom and puked. All my lunch came up.
“You okay?” Alex asked, and I nodded.
"I’m fine" I said and wiped my mouth. I had actually puked.
"You don’t look fine" he teased. I glared at him and he held up his hands in a defensive gesture. He laughed though.
"It was my first time ever on a stage, and I’ve never been so nervous" I said. Alex smiled and stroked my hair back, and I washed my face.
"You okay?" Ian asked and popped his head inside, but he only had to see the mess in the toilet to understand what had happened.
"Are you sick, or is that because you were nervous?" he asked.
"I was nervous" I said and nodded.
"If you don’t want to you don’t have to come on stage with us" he said and looked at me. I looked back. Crap… I had forgotten about that.
"Nah, I can make it" I said and smiled.
"You sure?" Alex and Ian asked in union. I nodded and they both smiled.

I sang my parts and this time it went so much better. I felt more powerful when I sang. People cheered us on and when we finished the last song “When I look into the sky” the crowd screamed. They went nuts.
"THANK YOU SEATTLE" Ian growled and he took my hand, and we both held it up as a thank you. The crowd screamed and I felt my heart racing. This was exactly what I wanted to do. I walked off the stage with Ian, still holding my hand. I could feel that he was still nervous but as soon as we got off stage he relaxed. My eyes went up to his and he looked down on me. He smiled and he looked so damn happy. I got a huge smile and started to laugh, for no reason at all. And then it happened… Ian leaned down and he kissed me. His soft lips touched mine.
