I signed the paper and Kim shook my hand, still with a firm grip.
"Do you want to be known as Mairin, or do you want something else?" he asked. I shook my head. Mairin was just fine. Different and unusual. then the tall man with tattoos came up to me and held out his hand.
"I’m Alex" he said with a smile. I looked at him and then shook his hand.
"Rin" I answered him and Kim smiled.
"Alex here will be your manager, your friend and he will help you with everything" Kim said. I looked at him and all I could see was trouble. He was hot. Like in really hot. Tall and tattooed, really nice icegrey eyes and black hair. He was like… an angel. I swallowed and he smiled. Did I really have to deal with maybe… a third guy? Alex phone went off and he excused himself.
"Sorry guys, that is my boyfriend… I have to answer this" he said and walked away. Somehow I sighed in relief and smiled. He was gay. I had nothing to worry about.

Alex came back and he looked at me.
"What do you say if you and I go out and have lunch, to get to know each other a little bit better?" he asked and smiled. I looked at him and nodded.
"Sure, that would be nice" I said.
"My treat" he said with a grin, and that smile made me like him even more. Not like that, but like him. He seemed nice.

Alex was seriously the brother and true best friend I never had. We had so much in common and I almost wanted to cry out when I realized how wonderful he was. I really liked this guy. Still not like that. Just as a friend. And he had told me that he never had felt such a connection to someone like me before. We both had rich parents and had grown up with false friends. We had a lot in common when it came to music, movies and books. He was really helpful and helped me to get into my new life. Because well… As soon as the contract was signed I had to start working on some new songs and all.

I was in my apartment, with Alex, when Tino came over.
"I thought you had gone back to Manhattan, since I hadn’t really heard from you in days" he said and smiled, and then he saw Alex. Alex and I was lying on the floor, right next tot each others and we wrote on some new lyrics and music.
"Oh, this is Alex" I said and Alex held out his hand for Tino.
"And you are Tino" Alex said.
"Yeah" Tino said, a bit confused and looked at me and Alex.
"I’m a fan of OMAM" Alex said with a laugh, and Tino still looked confused.
"I’ll go get some food, what about… subway?" he asked.
"That would be lovely, thank you" I said with a huge grin.
"Everything for you" he teased and winked, and left the apartment.
Tino looked after him and then he looked at me.
"I was just checking in on you, but I can see that you’re busy… But.. you’re up to meet the guys tomorrow?" he asked.
"Sure, give me a call tomorrow about time and place" I said and I heard that Alex came back.
"A subway club for the lovely you" Alex said and handed me the subway. Tino smiled at him and then left my apartment. i looked at him as the door closed and then I turned my attention to Alex again.
"Garlic and hotsauce?" I asked.
"As always" he said with a laugh.

Austin’s POV

Tino came back and we all looked up. We thought he would have Rin with him but he came alone. He looked a bit puzzled and we all looked at him. then he looked at me.
"What?" I asked and swallowed. Had something happened?
"She will come and hang out tomorrow but… Austin…" he said and I stared at him. What had happened?
"Why couldn’t she come today?" Aaron asked.
"I think… I think Rin met someone" Tino said and crossed his arms. My heart dropped and I stared at him.
"What?" slipped through my lips.
"his names is Alex… and to be honest… I’ve never seen her so happy as she was when he was there" Tino said and looked at me. Alex?
"Alex?" Alan asked.
"When I got there they were lying on the floor, writing music together and… well, they behaved like a couple" Tino said.
"They kissed?" Alan asked.
"No, they just… behaved all lovey dovey" Tino muttered and sighed. I stared at him.
