I stood with Jaime and Tony. We were outside Pierce the Veil's bus, hidden from view. I pushed my hands into my pockets anxiously. Tony watched me and reached over to soothe my shoulders down. I smiled back at him. Jaime wrapped his arm around me and squeezed me. "Thanks," I told them.
"Just don't freak out," Tony told me. Then we saw Sasha. She walked happily to the bus door. She knocked and Mike opened the door for her. He let her through and his eyes drifted over to us. I nodded slightly and he did the same. I suddenly realised my hands were balled into fists.
"And don't punch her in the face," Jaime added.
"Come on," Tony rolled his eyes. We walked towards the door and Vic silently opened it for us. I smiled and him and he hugged me quickly. Vic led me over to the bunks. I stopped outside of Mike's and waited. From in the bunk I head Mike talk.
"You're probably confused about why I ask you over," Mike said.
"No, not really," Sasha replied. "You were always weak when it came to me,"
"No, I wasn't. I want to know why you're making everything up?"
"I'm not," she teased.
"I know what you told Kayleigh,"
"Oh her," she groaned.
"That I was sleeping around. You know that's a lie. I slept with people in revenge. You were the one hooking up,"
"I know," she sighed. "It was easy though. She fell for every word,"
"Even me blackmailing you and hitting you! You know I'd never do that! And as for messing your head up, that's insulting. People like that listen to my music and you're mocking them. It's disgusting," Mike rushed.
"It's not all lies, so don't exaggerate. You threatened to send pictures of me to your friends and how do you know you calling me a bitch didn't affect me?"
"I hoped it would. But it didn't. I used to ask myself how I even got with you,"
"Come on, Mike,"
"I want you to admit everything you told Kayleigh was bullshit,"
"I want you back," Sasha told him.
"Admit it!" Mike ordered.
"Fine," she sighed. "I lied to her. Everything accept the pictures thing,"
"Why did I threaten to, Sasha?!"
"Don't start," she warned.
"You said you were going to hook up with Vic. My own brother! What else could I do?" he snapped. I stilled at this. This was the reason Mike was so crushed and pissed when I slept with Vic. His ex had threatened to do it. "The time you were in my life was the worst I've ever experienced. Now I'm happy you can't stand it. You've come back to try and break us up because I love someone who loves me as much as I love her," Mike explained.
"What is love?" she snorted.
"It's thinking you don't deserve the other person and not believing how lucky you are to have the other one," Mike told her firmly. "It's what I have with Kayleigh,"
"Then why haven't you made up?" she questioned. "And when did you get so soppy. It's pathetic,"
"Shut up," he growled.
"Just kiss me," she moaned.
"No!" Mike spat. At this I pulled back the curtain. Sasha looked alarmed when she saw me.
"Kay'," Mike said. I stepped up on a bunk to reach him. I put my hand on his face and put the other in his hand. I kissed him passionately and he kissed back. He leant down and fell from the bunk. I laughed and helped him up. Then he kissed me again, lifting me up. I eventually pulled away and looked at Sasha. I grabbed her by her hair and pulled her down onto the floor. "Kayleigh," Mike warned. I let go. She stood up and I pushed her away from the bunks.
"Tony, Jaime, Vic!" I called loudly. They hurried to us. When they saw Sasha they started to laugh.
"Get out," Tony told her. Jaime and Tony pushed her away and out. I heard the bus door close and her crying loudly. Vic came to me and kissed me on the forehead. He went to my ear.
"Thanks," he told me. I smiled and nodded. Vic left us and I looked back at Mike. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he sighed.
"I love you," Mike told me softly. "I thought-"
"I love you too," I told him quickly. "I realised that I didn't care what she said. I just wanted you," I explained.
"Thank you," he said weakly. He went to talk again but I silenced him with my lips.
