Too Soon

I heard someone pound their fist against the side of the bus. I jolted on the couch and Danny raised his eyebrows at me. "Three guesses who that is." I mocked.
"It's been up for ten hours. What did you expect?" he joked. "Are you going to talk to him?" Danny asked.
"Nope." I shook my head.
"Don't pretend you're not in!" Austin yelled from outside.
"I am!" I called. "I just don't want to see you!"
"You stupid bitch!" he shouted back.
"Go tell him to fuck off." I sighed angrily as Austin kicked the side of the bus.
"You're joking. I'm not getting in strangling distance of him."
"He won't strangle you." I rolled my eyes. "Please." I tried.
"Gem'." he groaned.
"A mention on my blog advertising your camera guy services after warped."
"Seriously?" he asked.
"Of course."
"And a free tattoo off of your friend."
"Why are you coming to England?" I asked.
"To get a tattoo, obviously." he said like I was stupid.
I narrowed my eyes at him until I finally nodded. "Deal." I agreed.
Danny stood up and walked over to the bus door. He opened it up and stepped back just incase Austin hit him. "Where is she?" Austin asked angrily.
"She doesn't want to see you." Danny said.
"I don't care. She can't talk shit about me and then hide away!"
"Everything I said was true, you hypocritical bastard!" I yelled.
"At least I have the balls to come and see you!"
"I did come and see you! I broke up with you but you decided to go and bullshit about me!" I called back.
"Austin, Gemma would very much like it if you'd fuck off." Danny said.
"I won't." he snapped. I sighed loudly and walked to the door. I went outside and glared up at at him. My arms were folded across my chest.
"What do you want?" I asked angrily.
"To know why all my fans have been tweeting me your stupid video."
"If it's so stupid why have so many people watched it?" I asked and smirked.
"Because they have nothing better to do." he sighed.
"What did I say that was wrong?" I demanded.
"You made me out to be an asshole."
"Yeah, so?" I asked. "Like I said I didn't say anything that wasn't true."
"Funny." he mocked.
"I am." I agreed.
"This could lose me fans." he exclaimed.
"And the lies you told everyone about me could lose me money. I'm sorry but we don't all get paid to do interviews and sing and every time a radio station plays something I've done. If people decided to not watch my videos then I lose money." I explained.
"Like that's your only income." he rolled his eyes.
"Because posing in my underwear pays the bills alone, doesn't it?"
"Yeah, it should." he sighed.
"I just want to know what happened. What was I? Just a joke or a trophy to gloat in front of your friends. I'm Austin and I'm screwing a model who loads of guys want. I'm cheating on her with all these whores and she doesn't know. Bless her, I'm such a player!" I mocked. "Why did you even come up to me in Scruffy's?" I asked. There were a few people watching now. I didn't care. I just wanted to get all of this out.
"Because I liked the way you looked."
"I thought you liked me." I muttered. "I guess not. When you realised you might have to pretend to like my personality for a month or two it wasn't worth it anymore."
"You know it wasn't like that." he growled. "I liked you."
"But what?"
"I couldn't do it." he shrugged.
"You are so full of shit." I sneered. Austin breathed deeply through his nose and punched the side of our bus.
"Gem', let's go for a walk. Okay?" Danny urged.
"You're not going anywhere." Austin snapped.
"Gemma!" someone yelled. I looked up and saw Tony with Mike, Vic and Jaime. There was a crowd now. I didn't even recognise someone the people watching. I saw Alan push his way to the front. He was hovering behind Austin. "Are you okay?" Tony asked. I nodded and looked back at Austin.
Alan was grabbing his arm. "Get off of me." Austin snapped.
"You have a serious problem, Austin." I said. "And I don't mean the fact that you can't keep your dick in your pants and find it impossible to not sleep with some poor, unsuspecting woman. Which by the way I don't know how you find them, it's not like I even enjoyed myself."
"If I was so bad why did you keep coming back?!" he demanded.
"Because I liked you as a person!"
"No, you liked it." he countered.
"You idiot, I faked it!"
"No." he shook his head.
"Get over yourself!" I exclaimed. "If you were so good then why did I never go down on you?" I asked.
"Um- you don't do that." he said. I looked up at Tony and then back to Austin. People were still watching. They were laughing.
"Just leave." Tony said.
"Oh shut up!" Austin sneered.
"You're just embarrassing yourself." Tony told him.
"Please, just go." I sighed.
"Is she good?" Austin asked Tony darkly. "Is she worth it? Because no matter how many times she kisses you, or she dresses up for you or you see her on top of you it won't be worth it. You'll always know that she's capable of all this shit!" he gestured around madly. "You're welcome to her."
"Fuck off." I said flatly.
"Come on, let's go cool off." Alan urged. Austin let himself be pulled away. The crowd started to disperse and I looked down. A part of me believes what he said was true.
