Left For Dead

Shannon POV

I was on the sofa on my own in the bus. Kevin was out , ally and vanna had gone to get some food and echo was on the date with josh, me and echo are still slowly trying to improve on our friendship, it will happen in its own time. I was just about to go and get myself a drink, when the bus doors opened and echo walked in with a tear stained face. My face dropped “oh echo” i patted the seat next to me and she plopped on it “so how are we going to kill josh then, run him over with our bus?” She laughed a little, it wasn't josh. I looked at her tear soaked face, makeup everywhere and her eyes had lost all feeling. I put my head to the side like when a dog hears a high pitched noise. “Alex, he saw--me and josh, so I ran after him-- and he told me he loved me---and I don't think he wants to be my friend anymore” I shook my head sympathetically. I opened my arms and is she to hear the opportunity to hug me or I will then patted my lap and she lay her head onto it “it's not going to be like this forever” I say while rubbing her arm. “How did you do this with Lauren? I feel like shit” I smiled a little. “As you can see, from the other day.. I'm not exactly over it”. I paused a little, “ but it gets easier, but I don't think you and Alex will be like means Lauren, you love each other” she was about to deny it but I interrupted her “you can't deny it, we all know it even you do” she sighed and sat up still crossing her legs. “Where is everyone?” She said looking around the front lounge “Kevin's gone somewhere, and you can guess where ally and vanna have gone” I said yawning. I have an idea and hold a finger up as if to say one second. I ran back to the bunk and started to rummage through my suitcase, until I found what I was looking for. I picked it up and ran to the front, dropping it on echos lap. “Here it's a diary, I know it sounds cliche but.. Write down everything in here it really does help, I have had one since I was around eleven, I have filled like twenty now, I still have them all at home, they help a lot” I went to the other side of the room and gave her a pen and then the keys for the lock to the diary, “it helps” she looked up at me and nodded. I sat down at the other side of the lounge and watched tv while echo was writing in her new book.
Turns out I had gone asleep and ally and vanna had come back and were on the sofa talking to echo, she looked a little more happy now. I bet it's the diary. “Where's Kevin?” I said while stretching, they all looked at me “he went to bed” ally said, vanna ran over to me and jumped on me as I was still lying down. “Why couldn't you weigh less, you are skinny as fuck, what is inside of you?!” I wiggled and she fell onto the floor of the bus. “So what are we going to do?” Vanna said. “So as you all know, I am a big game of thrones fan, and in there, they play would you rather a lot, but with alcohol” the girls nodded “but do we have any?” I shook my head. “LETS USE JUICE!” Echo shouted, we all cheer and that's how we spent our night.

vanna-

I fix my skirt and look around, as the girls got ready as well.
“let me go see if our boys are ready.” they nod and I walk outside, the cool summer air hitting my bare skin. I shiver a bit, and walked over to the buses. I knock and Tony opens the door.
“Hey V!”
“hey Tone. You guys almost ready?”
“been ready since we planned this carnival thing twice.”
“same! We shall meet you by the gate.” he nods and I walk away, ending up at sleeping's bus.
“IM ALMOST DONE!” Kellin yelled from the other side.
“meet you in the gates!” I call out to him and walked once more towards All time low’s. I knock and a very unhappy singer opens the door. “hey Al” I look at his outfit. “you not going?” I raise an eyebrow at the sight of a unready Alex Gaskarth.
“is Josh going?” I shrug and he sighs. “Can I talk to you?” I nod and he gets out of his bus.
“what's up? You're usually the super excited one.” besides Jack and Shannon. I added mentally.
“I know. I'm just.. Having a hard time I guess.”
“wanna talk about it?” I asked. He takes a deep breath and says rapidly.
“I told Echo I loved her” I gasp and my heart skips a tiny beat. Oh. “and well, yeah. It's just hard seeing her with Josh now.”
“Alex, they aren't dating” not that I know of, of course.
“It still hurts. It's whatever really, it's just a stupid feeling.”
“It's not, actually, but it hurts like hell. Look. I know you want to give space between you and the white head.” he chuckles. “but a couple of rides, cotton candy and maybe even beer won't hurt anybody. What do you say? Get changed, tell the boys to go. Have fun, forget the whole Echo problem.” he sighs and nods, giving in. Cotton candy can fix any sour and broken heart.
“Thanks,smurf.” he ruffles my hair and I roll my eyes,trying to fix it.
“no problem. Now I should get back. See you soon.”

“YOU WHAT?!” I laugh and give them their tickets.
“we’re leaving the boys down, and we’re going to the Ferris wheel, cause why the fuck not?” I say, looking at a very excited Echo and Shannon, yet a scared Ally.
“I thought you liked the carnival.” Shannon said, slightly elbowing Ally.
“not the Ferris wheel.” she whispers, looking at the led lights in the middle of the wheel.
“hey! You guys going to the Ferris wheel?” Taylor from We are the in crowd asked, Alex following right behind her.
“we are! You?”
“yeah.” we get in line, and I could feel the small tension between Echo and Alex. At least we would be in different carts, so it won't be too awkward. Right? We gave our ticket to the person and climb inside the moving cart. Ally squeezed my hand and I do too. I shouldn't look down.
Don't. Look. Down. Once we were moving again, I let out a breath and chuckle.
“So. warped tour is over in about three weeks” I say, looking at my best friends. “What are gonna do after?”
“Album.” Ally said “We have to get a new album out. Tour.”
“Would we stay in SD, to record?”
“Kevin says we have a new recording studio in Washington.” Shannon said, smiling. “It'll be great to go back and record something, or at least go finish what we started.” we all nod in agreement.
“I was thinking we should get a tattoo… together.” I said, grabbing their attention again from their phones. “something small and simple yet.. Us.”
“it sound great!”
“yeah!!” I smile and my phone rings.
My Jaime: we’re grabbing beers. We must celebrate
I look at my phone. Celebrate what? I sent back, and immediately got a respond back.
My Jaime: We released our third album today. I need you to hear it, let me know what my wife thinks.
“Shannon, did you know the Pierce boy released an album today?” She nods, and I squint my eyes.
“ohhhh someone didn't tell an important event to his girlfriend!” Ally sang and Echo supports with the scary go down sound. I roll my eyes and smile.
“Come on, let's go get beers” I tell them as we walked out the cart, forgetting or more like making ignore that Taylor and Alex were right talking, very closely to each other.

Ally's POV
“Are you okay ?” I asked Echo as we sat down at a table waiting for everyone else to return with our drinks and food. “Yeah, why wouldn't I ?” She asked looking a bit nervous. “Well you know with Alex and Taylor back there.” I said pointing behind her towards them. Alex and Taylor had come together with us and were getting really close lately, like really close. “Oh yeah, I'm happy for them.” She said giving me a small smile and turning away from looking at them. “You don't think he asked her out to maybe make you somewhat jealous ?” I asked looking at Alex and Taylor suspiciously who were at the moment feeding each other popcorn and laughing. “No, of course not. Plus Alex told me before he had a little crush on her before. That thing that happened between me and him before was all a big misunderstanding I'm sure.” She said while quickly looking back at them before turning away once again. She gave me a small smile before looking down at her phone. “Okay whatever you say the but we'll talk about this later.” I said as I fixed my Dress.
“Hey that's mine!” Vanna said as Jaime took a bite of her hamburger. “Hey love, what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine.” He said with his mouth full. We chuckled as we continued on eating. “So have you guys thought about what you're doing for after Warped is over ?” Alex asked. “Well we're probably going on another tour for our new album.” Jaime said. “We're going too.” Kellin said. Nods then came from the rest of PTV. I looked at Shannon who clutched closely with Mike. “And we're going to work on our album.” Echo said. “Yeah same with us.” Alex said. Vanna then looked at Jaime rather sadly which he pouted and then after gave her a reassuring smile. We all knew what that meant, we'd all be busy with our own stuff. “We'll still all get together during all that, I can assure you that.” Kellin said. “We will.” Vic said agreeing. “Okay enough with the sad shit, let's go do something fun!” Shannon said as she took a sip of her beer.
“Mike stop showing off.” Vic said while trying to knock a bottle out with a little ball. We were currently waiting for Kellin, Jaime, Vic and Mike to finish playing the game so we could leave to get on the roller coaster. “I'm not showing off, it's just natural talent.” He answered while putting his hands up in defense. “Yeah totally. It's all for Shannon really.” Jaime said teasingly from the side. “Oh shut it guys.” Shannon said as she wrapped her arms from behind around Mike getting him somewhat distracted earning Vic some time to beat him. “YAY!” Vic yelled while jumping up and down like a child. He had hit all the bottles there and was now declared winner. “Whatever.” Mike said. “You're still my number one anyway.” Shannon said. Mike then gave her a small kiss with a hug following after. “For you.” Vic said as he gave Tony a small stuffed animal which turned out to be a turtle, his favorite. “Why thank you sir.” Tony said happily as he took the turtle. “AWWWWW.” Vanna, Echo and I said in unison. “Ah stop it.” Tony said waving his hand around making everyone around us laugh. “Let's go now!”
“Here just hold my hand. Don't worry, It'll be fine and I'll protect you.” Kellin said trying to sound very manly. I hit his arm and gladly accepted his offer by taking his hand. “Be careful she has a strong grip.” Vanna said from behind us. I turned to see the lovely blue-haired girl sitting next to Jaime doing the same. “You be careful too Jaime.” I said chuckling. I turned back to Kellin and saw he was probably just as scared as I was. “Don't worry, I'll protect you.” I said mocking him. He chuckled lightly, “We'll protect each other.” He said. I like that idea, I thought. I looked in front of us and saw Echo and Josh sitting together, talking and laughing about something Josh said. I honestly didn't know what to think of them, I liked seeing them together because of how happy Echo was or looked but what about Alex ? He told me he loved her and I knew he did but I also knew how much they meant to each other and how all of that could get in between everything. My thoughts were interrupted when the roller cart started going. People on the cart then started cheering, excited for this. I looked at Kellin and saw him smile and in that moment I felt the happiest, nothing could definitely get in between that, “Well here we go!” I said cheerfully.
