Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Cassidy's POV*

I fell back into the door handle and banged my side, I let out a whimper of pain as I fell to the ground, tears started to form in my eyes but I held them back, "Cassidy, I'm so sorry I" Mike started but I interrupted him, "Stay away from me" I said putting my hand out to stop him coming any further towards me, "I'm sorry" he said quietly before backing up, I pulled myself up and dusted myself down before grabbing a pair of pyjamas and getting dressed, "Where are you going?" He asked slurring his words, "To Vic's, I'm going to stay there until you sober up" I sighed putting my cardigan and glasses on, "I always knew you were cheating on me with him" he said with spite in his voice, "Excuse me?" I said feeling slightly offended by that comment, "Don't try to deny it" he said raising his voice, I just rolled my eyes and turned to leave, but he pulled me back by my arm, he had a tight grip and it was starting to hurt, "You're not leaving" he said firmly, I tried to get out of his grip but I couldn't, he was really starting to scare me now, "Mike, let go" I said still trying to wriggle out of his grip but it tightened, "Mike, can't you see you're hurting me!" I cried, "You're not leaving me!!" he shouted in my face before pushing me backwards and on to the ground, I felt my face hit something sharp, I slowly touched my cheek and realized it was bleeding, I felt hot tears rolling down my face as it burned when it touched the cut I had just received, I had nothing else to say to him, I quickly got up and scurried out of the door before he could catch me, I knew he'd go straight to Vic's room so I made my way outside, I noticed another bus pull up and saw Austin jump out, "Austin!" I shouted as I ran towards him, "Cass" he said catching me in a hug, "What happened to your face?" He asked when we pulled away touching my cut, I flinched away before tears started forming in my eyes, "Come on" he smiled holding my hand and pulling me on the bus, "Guys this is Cassidy, she's on tour with Pierce The Veil" he announced, everyone smiled at me warmly, "Hi" I said quietly with a little wave, "What happened to your face?" A bubbly ginger guy asked jumping up and touching it, I flinched again, "I-I got into a fight with my boyfriend" I murmured out, "Mike!? Mike did this?" Austin asked confused, I smiled softly and nodded, he took a breath as if he was gonna say something but I cut him off, "It's not his fault he's drunk and I was pushing him" I shrugged, he just nodded before a taller guy with a beard stood up, "I'm going to check in" he sighed before walking past us, "That's Tino, you already met Alan, that's Aaron and this is Phil" he said pointing to them individually, "Phil Manansala?" I asked, he nodded and stood up, "I don't mean to intrude but you're not thinking about going back there tonight, are you?" He asked, I just shrugged, "I dunno, I mean I can't go to Vic's or Tony and Jaime's" I shrugged, "You can stay with us!" He said cheerily, I looked at Austin and he nodded, "I would be so grateful" I smiled before hugging him gently and walking out behind Austin.

"Cassidy, who do you want to stay with?" Austin asked, I shrugged, "I honestly don't mind" I smiled gently, "Well Tino is with Aaron, I'm with Alan, but if you don't feel comfortable with Phil you can go with me and I'll send Alan through there" he said pulling me to one side so no one else heard, "I'll be fine with Phil" I said before turning back and walking over to him, "Looks like we're bunk buddies" I giggled, "Thank god I get the pretty one" he said jokingly before we headed to our room, "Mike, she's not in here!" I heard Vic from down the hall, I looked at Phil with panicked eyes, "Don't worry we're here" he said grabbing a hold of my hand and pulling me into the room beside us, "Thank god" I sighed leaning back on the door, "You can have the bed and I'll have the chair" he smiled before throwing himself on the small arm chair next to the bed, "Thanks" I smiled taking my cardigan and glasses off and climbing in bed, "So how long have you and Mike been together?" He asked, "Umm 6/7 months" I shrugged, he nodded thoughtfully, "This has never happened before?" He asked, I shook my head no, "So why did he start now?" He asked, I just shrugged as i had nothing I needed nor wanted to say on the matter, "Sorry for being too invasive" he smiled sweetly, "It's fine, I don't mind" I said as I was yawning, "So you're with Pierce the whole Warped Tour?" He asked, "Well maybe, after tonight I really don't know what is going to happen?" I shrugged lying down and looking at the ceiling, "Well if you ever need like a day off from them or something, come over to our bus, I mean we would be delighted to have you with us, you seem like a genuine person" he said as he took his shoes and socks off, "I will, thank you" I smiled before closing my eyes, I soon found myself crying silently, I missed Mike, I found it hard enough to sleep without him but be away from his side was even worse, "Cassidy, are you okay?" Phil asked, I opened my eyes and saw him standing at the bottom of the bed looking at me concerned, "Yeah, I just miss Mike" I laughed as I was being stupid, I wiped my eyes and rolled over on my side to face the wall, "Phil?" I asked a couple seconds later, "Yeah" he replied standing up again, "If you want to, I mean you don't have to, but if you do, you can sleep in this bed" I said, on one hand I felt sorry as he could have had a room to himself but now has the chair and on the other hand I just really want some company, "Are you sure?" He asked, I smiled and nodded before pulling back the curtain, he stripped off and pulled some shorts on before climbing in beside me and lying on his back, I was quick to cuddle into him, but what made it the smallest bit better was Phil putting his arm around me and pulling me closer to him, "Goodnight Cassidy" he said quietly, "Goodnight Phil" I smiled as I closed my eyes.
