I was at my place with my son Jackson. He came from my previous relationship but that guy ended up leaving me once he found out I was pregnant. Its been 4 years and I haven’t heard from him since, but that’s not bothering me because I’m dating someone who really loves me. Jamie Preciado. He doesn’t know about Jackson even though we’ve been together for a year. Jackson was watching TV when my phone went off alerting me of a text. It was Jamie.

Hey Lauren! Movie night your place?- Jamie
I think that its time I introduce him to Jackson
Sure!-Lauren
Alright! See you in 10?- Jamie
Yes- Lauren
I locke my phone up and went over to Jackson. “Hey buddy guess what?” I said as I sat beside him. “What?” He said turing his attention towards me. “Mommy’s having her boyfrind over and you get to meet him” I said to him. “Really” he said. “Yeah! Me and himand you are going to watch movies!” I said. Minutes later the doorbell rang. “Stay here” I said to Jackson as I got up and opened the door to see my boyfriend Jamie. “Hey babe” he said as he stepped inside and kissed me. “There’s someone I want you to meet” I said as we started to walk to the living room. “Who” he said as we entered the living room. “My son Jackson, he was from a previous relationship” I said as I set him on my lap. “Son?!” he said shocked. “Yeah, I’m really sorry that I didn’t tell you becuase if I told you, you might leave me.” I said. “Lets’s just watch a movie” Jamie said as he grabbed a movie and put it in. It was a kinda childish show because of Jackson being here. We were halfway through the movie when Jackson fell asleep. I picked him up and carried him upstairs to his room as I set him in bed and walked back downstairs and sat beside Jamie. “Lauren can I talk to you?” he asked as he turned towrd me. “Yeah” I said to him. “I can’t do this” he said. “Can’t do what?’ I asked. “Be with you when you have a kid. I can’t, I’ sorry but were over” he said as he got up. “No wait!” I said but it was too late he was already out the door.

*4 MONTHS LATER*

I was walking around with Jackson when we accidentally bumped into someone. “I’m so so-” I said stopping myself to meet the face of Jamie Preciado. “Hey Lauren” he said as he helped me up from the ground. “What do you want?” I said in a small cold tone. “For you to take me back, because when I left you 5 months ago I relixed a week later that I could function right without you, what I’m trying to say Lauren is I still love you and I really hope you’ll forgive me and take me back” he said to me. “I don’t know Jamie you left me like the last guy did when he found out that I was pregnant” I said as I picked up Jackson and rested him on my hips. “Please Lauren? I promise I’ll never leave you again” he said with pleade in his eyes. “Yes, I’ll take you back, I’ll forgive you but I’ll never forget” I said. “I don’t care if you remind me of that everyday as long as your mine again” He said as he he gave me a peck on the lips and we walked with Jackson on his shoulders.
