Toxic Valentine. (Fransykes)

There's hope out the window, So that's where we'll go

((Unedited))
Counting steps to the inevitable seemed like a better idea when then inevitable was a predictable situation. Then again, talking to Oli Sykes could never be as planned as it should be, with his temper and unpredictable emotions. This meant that Josh spent a good ten seconds watching the path he was taking, knowing who he would crash into ten seconds after he began his voyage, but why would he purposefully do this? Well there was a long description involving his emotions why he shouldn't do this. But there was also the fact he thought they could brush shoulder's and he could walk away unscathed with his heart rate at its normal pace. Ha. What actual events occurred went something like this:

Firstly, Alex was perched off at the side in a deep if not slightly frustrated conversation with his best friend, he watched the entire thing as if it went in slow motion and for the most part wanted to tear his hair out because 'why the fuck did you think that was a good idea Josh?' Jack, upon realising the situation, felt it was best to offer some form of words to the wise to his elder Baltimore companion (Which included "Stay the fuck there Alex," and "Don't you dare," and the all time favourite "No you can't break Oli's face, you fucktard,")

Secondly, Vic was also walking passed, unfortunately he had his ebony haired friend with him as they were on their way to Pierce The Veil's set, with a guest star from Kellin because everyone seemed to love it when the mildly irritated yet enthusiastic man ran onto stage. He saw Josh freeze upon contact with Oli, saw him visibly shake and retract into himself which was something he had never seen in the usually confident boy. It was here the Mexican began to ponder whether there was something more going on with these British boys than he originally thought. Then he was dragged away by Kellin, who was internally cursing every possible deity that was yet to exist because why were these men so stupid, it's quite simple to stay the fuck away from each other.

Lastly, the events from their persons themselves was a little more in sequence, Josh had determination written all over him because he could do this, he was so sure of it. Yet their shoulders brushed, and their arms and then dear God the backs of their hands shocked and suddenly Josh was having flashbacks to those same hands doing wondrous things. He tensed and then shied away, desperate to be as far away from Oli as he could, but the ebony haired boy turned and looked him dead in the eyes instead. For a moment, neither of them moved, just the joining of two very cold yet not frozen eyes staring with a joint understanding into each other's thoughts and feelings. The same feelings. Fear, loss, every tilt of Josh's head said "I miss you," whilst the cracking of his nervous knuckles screamed "I hate you," Whereas the Sheffield boy simply bore an overload of guilt in his sparkling eyes. "Sorry," finally fell from the illustrated man's lips, but for some reason neither of them believed for a second that he was talking about their arms touching (And neither did Alex and Jack in the corner).

Silence overtook them and the Weybridge born looked torn between punching and kissing the other man, tears pricked his cerulean eyes because for the first time in so many years they were talking, face to face, the first word in years exchanged between them was "Sorry," and it was brutally fitting, but 'sorry,' didn't heal the many nights he sat alone sobbing, shaking and crying, the nights where he used pills to numb his body or a blade to distract himself. No, that didn't disappear because his only one happened to say 'Sorry,'

But he couldn't say that to Oliver, no he couldn't damage the other as much as he had been damaged, if they had been in an actual relationship he might have considered bringing up the matter, but no he was just a piece of trash willing to get on his knees for a man he loved. (That's not how Oli viewed him; the lighter man simply couldn't hold the responsibility that came with loving Josh and ran far and fast back to Hannah, in a fashion that could be understood by one of the two Baltimore boys). So getting married and starting a family will definitely not solve all his problems. "Goodbye," Josh nearly ran, but he stumbled too fast and in order to keep his dignity in tact he decided a speed walk was a better option.

A collective sigh of relief was heard, from everyone except the tall, thin and internally tear stained boy who only heard the sound of his glass heart breaking. That was it now, there was no talking, no touching and no thought, that one mistake tore two friends apart and now years later he was still paying for the price of falling in love with a boy whose biology was written to serve. Why had he been so scared? Well the moment his best friend admitted that he was a Submissive he had no idea how to handle it, he did his quick research way before that night (and so the air is clear, that night was as good for him as it was for his 'lover') but the idea of having to look after someone like that, having to follow all these rules and what if he hurt him? What if he did it wrong? So that morning he took off and ran as far and fast as he could, away from the memories of that night and the beautiful boy laying tangled in pure white sheets by name of Josh Franceschi.
