While Arl was driving us to the hospital, I looked out the window. The midnight sky and city lights were almost blinding to my shy eyes.
Being around darkness for so long really takes a toll , I can't help but blame myself... I personally was the cause of what happened to Dani.
I bit my lip hard and sucked in deep when I felt something stink in my back , I checked my hip to see the glass slash wound that I've been treating with dirt since we escaped the house.
"Are we safe ... Is the bad man gone ?" Dani questioned from her slumber.
I looked at Arl and I'm sure I saw her heart broke and I saw her bite back tears.
"yes beautiful, the bad man won't bother us anymore" I reassured her.
Dani smiled softly before laying back down , I looked to Arry.
"he hurt her badly ... Didn't he?" She whispered.
I bowed my head in sorrow, "Arry ... I'm sor-"
"I should have slit his throat .." She interrupted gripping the steering wheel so hard her knuckles turned white.
Before I could comment, we pulled up to the hospital with paparazzi and state troopers along side Officer Romero.
The troopers helped us out the car while the carried Dani into the building.
Thousands of flashes and yells before everything silenced , they rushed Dani to the exam room and I went to a different room.
I could see Arl looking around for something but I didn't know what until I heard the call of my name.
I instantly turned around knowing it was my aussy.
He quickly picked me up and I buried my face into his neck, I missed his smell .. I missed the feeling of his hair in my fingers.
He leaned in to kiss me when I stopped him , "I haven't brushed my teeth in days aus.." He laughed And pressed his lips to mine.
"I don't give a damn , I missed you so much baby." He whispered between kisses.
I didn't even notice that Arlet wasn't there , I looked around but didn't see her as we entered the exam room.
Austin held my hand through the whole exam , even the internal one.
They determined that I was dehydrated, malnourished and had low blood pressure. I had 78 stiches all on my body from various wounds and cuts but they said I'll be fine.
We left my room to go see Dani , I went to open the door when Ricky came out then greeted us in.
I saw Arl sitting in a chair beside A passed out Dani.
"Arl...?" I questioned, she looked normal now all regular hair and clothes.
"he .... He .. He tore her apart . He broke her hip in two places and broke through her cervix . She may never have children . She has a broken rib and her femur is cracked. Not to mention the bloody branding be left on her body ..." She whispered and my heart dropped.
"it's all my fault ..." I whispered.
"no it's not , they'll find him and bring him to justice " Ricky growled.
"he's rotting in hell right about now " she mumbled under her breath to only I could hear.
"what happens now ?" I asked the thick silence.

-Unknown POV -
i arrived at his house in a trench coat with lace underneath.
i checked my makeup in the mirror , my blood red lipstick and dark makeup looked daring and sexy.
i went up to the door to see it cracked open , weird.
i also noticed his car wasn't here, I walked up the stairs and I heard a strange noise. I opened his bedroom door to see Vince gurgling his own blood.
My heart dropped as I untied him and put pressure on the bleeding wounds.
"who did this ?!?! Baby !! Please tell me!" I begged seeing more blood pour from everywhere.
"c.... C.... Cass.." He spat as his body shook and his eyes rolled to the back of his head.
i stood there covered in my lovers blood with a heart of rage.
