It's been three days in these woods , I could see Dani's dirty face covered in the raspberries I fed her last night for dinner.
It seems as if escaping the danger of Vince , threw us right into the danger of nature . I looked down at my shirt , ripped and stained with Dani and My blood. I could see the moon high through the trees.
I looked down to see Dani sleeping on a bed on leaves I made for her , her small body was weak and she struggles to sleep at night due to starvation.
My own stomach started to rumble and before I knew it tears started to fall down my cheeks .
I got on my knees and I breathed in deep.

"God ... I know I haven't been on the best behavior during my life ... I know I'm a sinner but Dani shouldn't pay for my sins with her life . Please ... I'm begging you ... Save us from this hell .. And if only one of us may go , save Dani ." I prayed before looking up to the dark clouds passing under the moon.
I heard wolves howling and I scooted over to Dani more and cradled her in my arms . Both of our matted hair , matted and filthy but she was still beautiful.
Before I knew it , I was fast asleep.
I heard a small voice , my dry eyes cracked open and I heard it more , I focused on the voice thinking I was close to death . Instead , it got louder .. It recognized that voice ! It was Arlet!
i quickly shot up, scaring Dani as she clung to what was left of my shirt .
i scanned the pitch black woods , searching for a glimpse of a light or anything.
"ARLET ! WE'RE here !!!!!" I kept screaming with my cracked voice , I screamed for dear life ... I screamed until my lungs were on fire. Suddenly I saw a light and she stood in front of me.
"is this a dream ?" I whispered looking at her outfit .
"no !! We have to go !!! " She strained , linking our fingers together . She looked at Dani and I swore her heart sank .
"w-what did he do ?...." She cracked out looked at the now healing bruises and cut marks , plus the but of blood between her legs. She hand brushed down her back and she whimpered in pain , Arket flinched back .
"I'm so sorry Arry..." I bowed in sorrow.
She lead us back to her car and we got in . We held hands the entire time . As Dani laid on the back seat , I noticed we were driving back to the house and my heart sped up .
"what are you doing !! We need to get out of here !!!! He's going to kill us !!" I strained before I seen her pulled the gun out of her purse , she unlocked the safety and looked me straight in the eye.
"No one . And I mean NO ONE, touches my fucking daughter ." She spoke coldy that it made me shake. I could almost feel the rage pouring from her pores.
She tied her hair up and ushered me to follow her , I kept the car running and locked in doors with Dani inside.
We slowly walked up stairs and she ushered me to hide in the bedroom closet , I cracked it open to see what she was doing . I could see him sleeping carelessly and I balled my fist .
Before I could register, she jumped on him and he woke up.
She started kissing him and he kissed back and started grabbing all over her , I was standing there mouth open.
"hey baby .. Let's try something . I want to tie you up .. And give you the best night of your life " she whispered in a seductive tone.
He nodded , biting his lips as she bound his arms to the headboard .
