Save Me

Ryder's Pov:
I woke up to my alarm going off, so I hopped out of bed and woke up Ty. I walked into the kitchen and got out two bowls, one for Ty and one for me. Ty comes walking out of his room dressed for school
"Hey little man, Uncle Aaron is picking you up from school today"
"Why?"
"Because I have things I'm doing today. For your birthday"
"Oh okay mama" Ty finishes eating his breakfast and puts his bowl in the sink.
"Let's go Ty, we gotta get you to school"
"Mama, can I invite this girl to my birthday party?"
"Do you have a crush?"
"No. Eww. Mom girls have cooties" I laugh as we walk out to my car.
~~20 minuets later~~
After dropping Ty off I go home and change. I do some chores and then just hang out on my computer for a little, until my phone goes off

Hey, I know it's early but do you want to go get some breakfast before shopping?

Now I have to go do my make up, I'm excited though I can't wait to see him. Which is kind of scary because I haven't felt this way since Dani and I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
When I finish my make up, i slip on my shoes and wait for a few minuets, until I see Austins car out front, I run down stairs and get in.
"Hey"
"Hey, so where are we going for breakfast"
"My house"
"Well okay" Austin starts driving
~20 minuets later~
We pull into Austins drive way and I get really nervous. Austin parks and we get out of the car and go inside, his house is huge
"You live here by yourself?"
"Most of the time, sometimes Alan stays here for weeks but other than that yea this is all mine"
"Wow, it's bigger than my apartment" I say following Austin to the kitchen
"So Ryder what do you want for breakfast?"
"Umm, I have no idea"
"Okay well then I'll make something and surprise you with it"
"Okay. I guess I'll just sit here and talk to you" Austin grabs some stuff out of the fridge and starts cooking
"Alright Austin, ask me anything"
"Favorite movie?"
"Easy. Breakfast club. Now ask me something challenging"
"Okay. Do you think that you could fall in love again?"
"You know after Dani passed, I didn't think I would be able to but recently with you I'm beginning to think it's possible" Austin pauses for a minuet and looks at me
"With me?"
"Yes"
"Does that mean your falling?"
"Maybe a little" Austin blushes and continues cooking "Next question Austin"
"Okay, How old were you when you had Ty?"
"I was 19"
"Were you scared?"
"Terrified. But I had the support of Dani, his parents, Micky,everybody except my parents"
"Wow, why didn't you parents support you?"
"Because my parents never supported me in anything, that's why I'm so supportive of Ty,because I know how it feels to not have anyone to turn to"
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked" Austin says walking over to the cabinet and grabbing two plates and walking back over to the stove "No it's fine. I want to talk to you about my past, hopefully, you'll be in my future"
"You know if you keep making comments like that and I might just ask you to marry me" He says jokingly
"Slow down there buddy, I haven't even been asked to be your girlfriend" I blush after saying that not thinking before I said it
"Is that what you want? I mean I know we haven't exactly talked about it and it would be kind of soon" Austin says putting the food on the plates and walking over to me, handing me my plate and motioning for me to follow "Austin, I would have to ask Ty how he feels about it"
"We should talk to Ty at dinner tonight"
"We?"
"Yes" Austin sits down on the couch and I sit next to him. We eat in silence. After we eat, we rinse our plates
"Ryder, you ready to go shopping?"
"Yes, actually I'm excited about shopping" We walk out to the car and get in
"I hope that conversation earlier didn't make you feel awkward around me"
"No, I'm glad we had that talk" Austin smiles and we drive off.
~~ 2 hours later~~
We are at my apartment hiding the presents, I decided to call Aaron and tell him that he doesn't need to pick Ty up that I got done early and will be able to do it. "Hey Austin I have to go pick up Ty, do you wanna come?"
"Sure, I like hanging out with him":
"Well homework is a priority and then he can chill with you"
"Of course" we walk down to Austins car holding hands. We get into the car and start driving to Ty's school.
"So should we meet you for dinner or what do you want us to do?"
"I'll pick you guys up, I have an errand to run before dinner"
"Okay" we pull up at his school,
"Mama!" I get out of the car and open the back door for him to climb in the backseat
"Hey buddy" I say closing the door and getting back in the front seat
"Hey Austin" Ty says buckling his seat belt we start driving and are back to my house within 10 minuets, Austin parks and we all exit the car. When we get up to the apartment Ty goes to the table and starts his homework.
"Ryder, come here" Austin whispers and motions for me to come to him
"Yes?"
"I can't wait, I'm so excited, can we ask him now. Please?"
"I guess" Austin and I go sit down at the table across from Ty
"Hey little man, we gotta talk to you"
"Yes mama?"
"Well we have a question for you"
"What is it?"
"Would you be upset if Austin and I became girlfriend and boyfriend?"
"No, I like Austin and I can see you do. But mom, he has cooties" Austin and I laughed at that.
"Hey guys, I have to head out, got a couple errands to run"
"Okay bye Austin" Ty says not even looking up from his homework
"Ryder, I'll see you guys in a few" Austin says kissing my cheek and then walking out the front door.
