The First Punch

A week or so ago they found Quin guilty of abusing Kel and he was sent to jail. I guess that kinda laid Kel really to rest. I was starting to feel a little better. I’m realizing that it makes me feel better when I think of the happy times and being happy that they happened. We gave MoonMoon to Vic and he has loved her as much as Kel did. The Thunderbird is in our garage and on sunny days we take it out for a drive. We got a storage unit and moved all of Kel’s stuff in there that no one wanted, and sold his flat. We put his money in a savings account and we are saving it to maybe open a 50’s diner. Mike got out of rehab and I have to say he’s doing amazing and he’s so nice now. He’s apologized to me so much and I can tell that he is trying to start over. I’ll never forget what he has done but everyone deserves to start over. The band has decided to keep Mike. Toby and Luke moved to New York for Adrien’s shop. Ricky and Em are official and Ray tried to call Vic but he just told her off. Vic doesn’t need her.. He has MoonMoon... I rolled over to look at the clock and I saw it was 10:30. Today the band was announcing their tour for October-February and of course I had to go. Mel and Emme were in the bed and I could hear the guys out in the lounge room. I got out of bed slowly not trying to wake Em and Mel, but I failed. They both got up and Em fell out of bed. Mel and I laughed at her and she flipped us off. I walked into the bathroom with Mel trailing behind me and we put on out makeup. Emme was still on the floor and she was laughing at a stupid cat video on her phone. I only did minimal makeup and Mel did the same. We walked out and saw Emme on the floor still. I started to get dressed and Mel pulled Emme up.
“C’mon my lover.” She walked her over to the bathroom and let Em get ready. I was laughing at Emme and her “I’m not up” behavior. I finished putting on my clothes and I looked in the standup mirror. A pentagram crop top, black high waisted shorts and my blue Vans as always. I laughed as I heard Emme swear loudly.
“Gaaahhhh… Fuck you makeup!!” Mel and I laughed as she came over to me wearing a black dress that we had gotten earlier. She kissed my cheek and Em walked out of the bathroom. “I messed up…”, she pointed to her eye.
“Fuck off it looks great!” I said walking towards her and laughing. She quickly pulled on a sundress and her Doc’s.
“Thanks” She rolled her eyes and walked to the door. We followed her to the lounge room to see all of the guys watching Jackass for the fourth time. I walked up behind Tony who was holding Ghost and laughing his ass off at something he’s seen a million times. I kissed the top of his head and sat on another couch next to his. Mel and Em followed me. Today we didn’t have a lot of band members in our house, just a few. ATL was on their last leg of touring with SWS while Motionless in White were kicking off a tour with Korn, Slipknot, Lamb of God, and OM&M. We had all of PTV (including the whole crew) and little Ellie. It was nice to see all of the guys bonding again.
“Hello ladies. Good night?" Vic asked, trying to hold back laughter.
“Very good.” I laughed and so did Mel and Em. “Are we all still going to the kick off party tonight for Motionless?” I asked looking at the guys.
“Hell yeah! Why wouldn't we go?” Jaime said as everyone laughed with him.
“What are you gonna do about little Ellie?” Mel asked picking at a thread on the hem of her dress.
“I’m gonna drop her off at the grandparent’s house.” Jaime explained.
“When are you guys having the announcement??” I asked curiously.
“Now, it should be going live. Right?” Vic looked to the manager and the techs, whom of which were on their computers and phones. They nodded and about 1 minute later the pages started to blow up. People asking where and when and how much tickets and of course those fans that self promote on the comments. The fans with common sense told the other fans to go on the website. We spent the rest of the day just watching movies and talking about tour stuff. 3 o’clock hit and the movie ended. If you’re curious as to what movies it was… it was Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (one of my favorite movies). I got up and l grabbed my keys off of the counter.
“Ladies?” The girls got up and grabbed their bags. “We are gonna go now cause it’s a 2 hour drive!! See you weenies there.” I blew Tony a kiss and we all walked out. I got in the front seat and Mel joined me. It still felt weird not having Lian riding shotgun. Em got in the back and I started the engine.
The whole 2 hour drive was spent talking about Ricky and Em, listening to music, and singing. Our soundtrack was Restoring Force: Full Circle and American Beauty/American Psycho. We all knew every word to all of the songs so singing was fun!! It felt like it took no time to get to LA. When we got to the venue we texted Ricky and parked the car. As we waited for Ricky to come and get us we talked about him and Emme.
“So Em, how goes you and Ricky???” Mel asked in a funny voice. Emme giggled and hid her face in her shirt. I continued to watch the building for one of the members to come and get us.. Well what I thought would only be one of the members turned out to be Austin, Alan, a roadie, and Ricky. Emme still didn’t answer the question, instead she jumped out of the car and went to Ricky. Mel and I laughed and got out of the car, tossing the key’s to the roadie.
