The First Punch

So it was now 5 at night and everyone was relaxing on the bus. Mike was here too but he was in his bunk. He didn’t want to be out with the band for a fear of disappointing us.
“So Alex, you and Tony have fun?” Vic commented and everyone started laughing.
“Oh yeah, way more fun than you had today.” I winked and everyone started to laugh harder. Vic started to blush. “Shit Lian… you have to leave soon… We leave at 6:30.. I’m gonna miss you so much for the next 6 weeks..” I looked down and so did Jaime.
“I have no way to get home though because Kel drove me here, and he’s doing whatever he’s doing with Quin.” Lian said putting her hand on Jaimes leg.
“Do you want me to call a taxi for you babe?” Lian nodded and Jaime pulled out his phone. “Uh yeah hi can you come pick up someone.” Jaime got up and went to the back lounge to talk with the 'taxi company'.
“Why did he leave? To talk to the company?” Lian asked and everyone kept their mouth shut. We all knew what Jaime was up to. So Lian and Jaime live together obviously. Kel doesn’t live with them but Lian and Kel see each other practically everyday. And Kel has a small kitten to keep him company. She’s so cute her name is MoonMoon. And Lian loves and I mean LOVES her. So Jaime arranged to have his friend Dylan pick up Lian and have the cat be in a small crate with a bow on it. With a card that read:
For my lovely soon to be wife. I love you and for you I arranged for this kitten to keep you company and love you too. I think that this kitten will be a great addition to our little family. Name him whatever you like (I was thinking Forrest.. Or Dragon, btw he is a he). I love you babe! See you in six weeks.
I think the whole idea is so cute. The kitten is grey and white and black and he got him from the local shelter. I convinced him to do so because.. well I’m a vegan.. Jaime came back in the room.
"So the taxi couldn’t come for another 2 hours. They said they’re really backed up. But I got Dylan to pick you up. Is that okay?” Lian nodded and smiled. “He said he’ll be here in a few minutes. He just so happened to be in town!” Jaime explained. Everyone but Lian knew that was bullshit but we all couldn’t wait to hear Lian’s surprise about the kitten.
About 30 minutes passed and we heard a knock at the door.
“I got it!!” Lian said jumping up quickly. When she opened the door we heard a squeal like she was surprised. Could she be that surprised to see Dylan? She came into the room with a kitten in her arms. The kitten had a bow around its neck with a note attached. We all were surprised and Jaime looked to Dylan and smiled. Lian stoped there and read the note as she held the small animal in her arms.
“Wait I thought you were gonna do it when she got home?” Vic asked. Jaime smiled.
“I wanted everyone to be surprised!” Jaime said. And Lian walked over to Jaime and sat next to him.
“Oh my God Jaime!!! Thank you so much, little Forrest is so adorable!!” She leaned to the side and kissed Jaime.
“Forrest?! Really?! You picked the name I wanted?” Jaime smiled and Lian nodded. At this point everyone was aweing.. It was so cute. I couldn’t wait till we ended the tour so I could spend my days playing with little Forrest. Don’t get me wrong I love touring but I miss sleeping in my own bed and eating food that doesn’t come from a microwave.. At least when I’m home I can actually have really good vegan food… I wonder if Tony and I will move in together? I’m kinda getting ahead of the situation.. But I really like Tony..
“Should we uh get going Lian?” Dylan suggested. She nodded and stood up.
“Jaime I fucking love you so much!” She leaned back down and kissed Jaime hard on the lips. We all watched as the kiss started to linger and little Forrest got smushed between them. We all started to laugh and they pulled away. Jaime’s cheeks turned red and Lian just smiled. We were all still laughing and Lian looked to all of us. “Hey at least I’m getting more than most of you!”
“Eh fuck you Costello! At least I got it today!” I playfully said to Lian mocking how Matt talks to me. Tony put his head down, but you could still see him smiling.. And Vic started laughing.
"What?! You seem so ashamed! You should be happy you get a girl with a body like hers!" Vic stated. Everyone was laughing nervously and was scared for what was yet to come from Ray. Ray just kinda stared at him.
“With a body like her’s? What, do you have a thing for her? Am I not good enough?” Ray got up quickly, grabbed her purse, went outside of the bus. Everyone just stared at Vic, and Tony had looked up and was now looking at Vic.
“I was just saying… Everyone here knows she has a good body...” Vic was turning red and Lian nodded and smiled. So did Tony.
“Dude she has a fine ass body… I would kill for her body.. Especially how she looks in an bikini! Oh my God!” Lian said enthusiastically and everyone started laughing.
“Babe you have a great body.. Trust me I would know.” Jaime stated and started cracking up. Between laughs Jaime managed to get out a few words. “You—Should-Leave now.” He couldn’t stop laughing and everyone started to laugh too. As Lian’s face turned red. Dylan came over and Jaime stood up. He pulled Dylan into a bro-hug. They pulled away and you could see Dylans face turn to sadness.
“Well I guess I’ll see you in 6 weeks man..” Dylan waited by the door for Lian to say her goodbyes. She walked to Jaime and kissed him on the cheek.
“I love you babe. Talk to you soon.” Then just when I thought she was going to go she put little Forrest in Jaimes’ arms and ran over to me. She wrapped her arms around me and whispered in my ear. “I love you! Please call me like everyday. And keep Tony he’s good for you. Don’t have a one night stand with Vic again. I mean I know you were miserable with Mike but just please don’t do that again. Especially now that he has Ray… I love you girlie stay safe.” She pulled away and kissed my cheek and walked to Dylan. They started to walk to the door but Jaime ran over to her.
“Forgetting something?” He said laughing and handing Forrest to Lian. She laughed and nodded, walking out of the door. Jaime walked back into the room and pulled out his phone. “Is it really 6:15?” we all nodded. “Is our driver even here yet?” The driver stood up and walked into the room.
“Forgetting about me already.. Love you too Jaime.” We all laughed and our driver, Leo, went back to his seat. Ray came into the bus quickly before we left.. When she got on the bus she went right to the back lounge, stomping her feet..
“Oh my fucking God.." Vic got up and dragged himself to the back lounge. Everyone watched him seriously. Maybe Vic and Ray wouldn’t work out… Why did I feel kind of happy about that.. Alex… Snap out of it..
Within the next few minutes we left and were on the road again heading to Portland. I couldn’t stop thinking about what Lian said..
